Being a first time home buyer, I wanted to make sure I hired a very well-qualified home inspector. After searching on Angie's list, Larry MccCaslin seemed to fit the bill. Larry McCaslin went out of his way to accommodate me on short notice (Note to future home buyers: Make sure you have at least 14 days to schedule a home inspection during the summer). Not only that, but he performed a thorough home inspection; He did not seem rushed when performing the inspection and was able to provide an inspection report in a timely fashion. He was very responsive and made himself very accessible in order to go over report findings or answer any questions/concerns. I would definitely recommend Larry McCaslin for anyone needing a home inspection in the Lexington area.

This is the fourth inspection that Larry McCaslin has done for me. In all four cases he has been prompt, thorough, professional and does a great job explaining the impact of the inspection results. I will continue to use him as I purchase more rental properties. I highly recommend him without reservation. He probably saved me thousands of dollars by identifying problems that needed to be fixed prior to purchase or sale of my properties.

Mr. McCaslin was very punctual, courteous, friendly, and professional. He arrived to the house for inspection before we did and we arrived 15 minutes earlier than the starting time. Upon arrival he had already started inspection of the house. He was very thorough and paid attention to detail with his inspection. He even noticed screws in window latches that needed attention. He had a professional looking and organized report with pictures and detailed information on what needed attention, and he made the report available online so it was readily available upon his completion. He even went back the next day to get a picture that didn't come out very well the first time to go in the report so that it better showed what was discussed in the report. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection.
