LEX-ROOTER SEWER & DRAIN CLEANING

My experience with LexRooter was excellent. I highly recommend them. I give them the highest rating for the work they did for me. I have owned my home for more than 38 years. Never have a had a sewage back up before. It was coming up through the finished basement floor drain pouring all over the floor. At a time like that a person feels rather helpless. I phoned LexRooter and the dispatcher was warm and professional. Music to my ears, she said a technician would arrive in less than 30 mins. Markiss arrived shortly after I hung up the phone. He listen carefully to the things that I had done in an attempt to unclog the mainline. Immediately he went to his truck and brought in a high-powered snake to snake the basement drain back to the easement at the back of my property . When this snake wasn’t successfully clearing the blockage, he quickly contacted his supervisor. I appreciated this so much because not only was he working with integrity himself, he had the humility to know when he needed to ask for help wasting no time!! I consider that to be a very very valuable resource in any technician. Daniel, his supervisor arrived. I believe he said he has worked for the company for eight years. I appreciated his experience and skill. Daniel impressed me immediately. He was very respectful and yet confident in his own ability to address the problem. He listened to everything I had to say and everything the other technician had to say, and then he moved forward from his experience to do the exact things needed to fix the problem and fix it quickly He explained to me that he needed to use a snake that was a larger gauge which he had in his truck and he told me that the right thing to do was to create a clean out. My house was constructed a long time before and it didn’t have a clean out in the yard and it didn’t have any kind of clean out in the house. He quickly constructed a clean out at very minimal cost that accommodated the larger higher powered snake, which in short order resulted in one of the most wonderful sights a person could have when their house is flooding with sewage -suddenly the basement drain happily started to swallow up, sewage draining very very quickly. Now not only do I have the mainline drain clear and functional, I finally have an easy access clean out. Yay!! The company is very lucky to have Daniel working for them. I feel confident that in every job he has a hand in, not only will the problem be solved, it will be done fairly and as inexpensively as is reasonable. Daniel will leave his customers eager to use LexRooter again if need arises. Markiss and Daniel worked together efficiently. The speed and quality of the work turned a nightmare experience into one that left me with a lot of gratitude in my heart. The bill was also extremely fair.

I like them. They are local. He was on time and Tyler was a nice man. They are good. Holly is very nice. They are awesome. Never had an issue. Very knowledgeable and do have guarantee. Can't said enough about them.

Awesome. Call the day after Thanksgiving, at 7:30am, they were here by 9. Cleaned out the sewer, very nice technician. Unfortunately, they did not get it all out so I called again a few days later and they showed up within the hour and got it right! From Tonya who is in the office to the technician everyone was so professional and polite. Would use again in a heart beat!

They cleared the drain but did not clean up after their work. Too bad they did not really figure out what the real problem was.

I had not used them before. They were very quick and on time. They did what they had to do and didn't try to sell other services. No issues came up during the service. It did take them a couple of days to get an appointment.

I called Lex Rooter on a Monday morning, and they were able to respond by lunch time. Nathan was able to access the main line under our house and snake it. He was on-time, courteous, and professional. Their prices beat Roto Rooter by about $100 or so.

Came on the spur of the moment. Did their job in an reasonable time and left no mess.

The first person they sent was an early 20s person who was clearly very new. He didn't seem to understand the nature of the problem, which my husband and I had already figured out. But once that guy finally agreed that our analysis was likely correct, the company brought in two other people to fix the problem. They were polite, efficient, capable and good at responding to my questions. The job was completed in about ~90 min. Even better, once they were finished the guy in charge acknowledged (totally on his own) that it probably could have been a one-person job, and didn't charge us the extra-person fee (which would have been around $50) -- a very nice ending to the repair. All in all, a good experience.

Very professional. Came in with the correct equipment. Cleaned the line and checked it several times. Took about an hour from the time the technician arrived until the sewer was running freely. Would not hesitate to call these folks again. Really knew what he was doing.

We had an "emergency" on a Saturday morning where multiple toilets were backing up. That condition prompted us to look for a plugged main septic pipe out to the tank or the septic tank itself had become overloaded with sludge. We called Lex-Rooter around 9:30am hoping they could get to us today (and we live in the next county NE of Lexington.) They were here within a couple of hours. The service technician, "Nate", quickly identified that the main septic line was "full" and we either had a plug at the outlet to the tank or the tank was full. We pulled the cleanout drain cap on the septic tank; the effluent was at a normal level. So "Nate" correctly concluded that we had a plug in the main line. To get the most-direct clean-out route, it worked out best to pull up one of the other toilets in the house. "Nate" did that very quickly and with no mess. Then he started the drain cleaning process. Unfortunately, what he found was a surprise. Apparently the main pipe from the house to the inlet on the septic tank had fractured at some point (it's Schedule 40 PVC put in about 24 years ago) and some roots from a foundation bush had grown in there and allowed a root/dirt ball to form. "Nate" 's drain cleaning device couldn't cut all the way through that mess but did open it enough to allow liquid to flow freely. So the good news is that we can use the bathrooms albeit watching how much water (and TP) goes down the drain for now. The bad news is that we'll need to excavate that pipe and replace it which is more than Lex-Rooter does. But we were grateful we still had use of our facilities and that Lex-Rooter was prompt, professional, and conscientious particularly on a weekend. "Nate" even gave us a little break on the price since he could "solve" the entire problem. We'd definitely use Lex-Rooter again for a drain problem.

My house needs a rotor service roughly every 2 yr. This time my usual plumber was not able to come so I called Lex-rooter. The first team came on time and I explained what the problem was and stressed that they may have to work in the crawl space since my plumber has done this few times. Then they went to check and confirmed it. One serviceman suggested that there is other way which is the vent pipe from my roof. Unfortunately, they didn't have enough equipment in the truck and ensured me that there will be another team come in 1 hr. The second team came within an hour and I briefly explained the problem once more. Wasting no time, they started and finished the job within an hour. They are professional.

Nathan and his helper were on time and very professional. They did not waste time, very task oriented and very courteous. They unplugged my drain in approx. 30 minutes - tree roots, ugh!! I was very happy with them, they represented Lex-Rooter very well. I would continue to use them in the future and recommend them to my friends.

They sent 2 staff who were professional and courteous. The lead employee went out of his way to provide me updates, explain their policy and pricing, and they worked diligently without wasting time. I was very satisfied with their service and would recommend them to anyone. I will definitely use them again when needed.

It went very well. Instead of working in the bathroom at the toilet, they found an outside access to the main drain line for the whole house, that I did not know about, and reamed out the entire drain line. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of their work and their concern for not damaging the toilet itself.

They gave excellent service and had very competitive prices. They offered advice that they didn’t have to and were very helpful and friendly with the work. They did quality work at ½ the cost of the leading company in the area.

We are very well pleased with the skill and knowledge. The drain still works as intended and now I know what I can do to keep the drain flowing.

It was not a difficult job. They did it in the morning, but not at an unusual hour. Just needed a clog cleaned out. They checked out the situation, ran a rooter to clean it out, and left. The price tag was what got us for less than a half hour work.

They were great. They were quick and the price was reasonable. Their service and clean up were excellent. I've used Lex Rooter previously as well.

The entire clog removal took about an hour. I would recommend this business and the plumber who took my call.

They did a great job but it was a little high. It was the price they quoted so I had nothing to complain about. It may be the going price now. It was fine and I had no objections to what they did.
