Description of Work: Found and fixed broken water main.It was unfortunately an Friday at about 11:30 at night when we began to hear the loud sound of rushing water in our wall at the back of our home.We did not find a leak in the house but knew the water was going somewhere. Were unable to turn the water main off completely under the house so knew we needed a plumber right away that night! It was late, it was cold and it was Friday night!! We called Johnston plumbing. Within 30 minutes their on call person was here and under the house turning off the rushing water!! Within 45 minutes of the call, this very pleasant man had found the problem!! We had to have the city come to mark utility lines before work could be done on the water line. The plumber arranged all that for us!!! Even though that wasn't his responsibility. He then set up the time to come back early the next morning to trench down to the broken pipe and fix.Even though he was out here very late at night, and with a smile on his face, he was back promptly in the morning when he said he would be!! Again, with a smile on his face! Problem fixed!! Great service, great work!

Description of Work: Installed a kitchen faucet, a bathroom faucet, removed old garbage disposal and installed new plumbing, and replaced worn tub faucet diverter.

+ -1 moreI reported weak flush action of 14 year old toilet in home I had purchased a year ago, and he first offered a cheap alternative (acid rinse for algae). We did have algae but removing it did not remove the core problem - the toilet itself. He replaced the toilet in a little over an hour with a new cheap one (rental unit) and it's great.
Description of Work: Installed new toilet.
