They were good . They done several things for me and it was amazing.

I did not hire to do any work, so I cannot provide feedback on that. I only had the owner out for an estimate. But that was enough to convince me not to hire for a large project. He missed the scheduled time to come out for the estimate and did not call me to let me know he would be late or anything. I had to call in to check on the appointment. He did follow up with me within a minute and showed up about an hour later, so I will give him that. During the estimate he continually interrupted me when I tried to explain the problem. He completely ignored most of what I was able to tell him. In some cases he claimed my information, which I had gotten from a leak detection company (not just my own opinion), was wrong. He has a very bulldog-ish attitude (not in itself a bad thing), but the feeling I got was that he was trying to intimidate me into having him do the work as soon as possible. After all was said and done, he told me he could not give me an estimate. He wanted his own guy to come out to troubleshoot and do leak detection, which would have cost me an additional $300-$400. He utterly failed in trying to gain my trust. That reason alone is why I cannot recommend and would suggest anyone looking to hire for a large plumbing project to look elsewhere. I have had many other plumbers in the area come to do an estimate and this was the only one that left a bad taste in my mouth.

They did a good job. They came in within 45 minutes. It was hard to get a plumber in a short notice and it was really great.

He was very good. It was prompt and down well.

I said what I needed when I placed original call for service. Plumber came, tried what I had already tried. Gave us a part number to send us to Lowe's to get needed part at store and said call them when we had it. Two days later before we'd tried other stores because Lowe's didn't have it, we received a bill from them to pay them $89 for telling us exactly what I had told them when placing the initial call. Called owner several times. When I finally was able to speak to him he was sexist, chauvinistic, condescending and yelled at me through the entire conversation. After telling him I was surprised he would treat a customer that way since small businesses like his need referrals and good reviews, he snidely said, "Fine, just throw the bill away."

The company was very responsive. The work was done the same day. Had arranged for them to do some follow up work the next week but did not hear from the company. Everything done was very well done, though.

Excellent. The young man came within 30 minutes of my call. He found the problem right away and fixed it in a more professional manner than the pipe was originally installed.

They were quick to come out ant look at my situation. They fixed the leaking pipe and removed the standing water. Great guys!

He was here about an hour and a half. I've used them for several years now.

After 2 calls to them about it, we never got a response - not even 'We don't want to do that job." We shall be finding another plumbing company for this job and all our future work.

I first called H2O Maestro to quote the project since I had used Fayette Heating and Air previously for replacing a heat pump. H2O Maestro charged me $79 to provide a quote for $2,419. I then turned to Angie's List and called John Estes Plumbing & Heating. They are classic plumbers (the invoices are hand written) and very responsive. The new water heater was the same dimensions as the old one and it took them about 2.5 hours. The final cost was $1,350, which was less than their original quote and much less than H2O Maestro. Based on work quality, cost, and professionalism, I highly recommend John Estes Plumbing & Heating.

He's honest and he will usually come the same day. I can leave him with my house key.

I called John Estes Plumbing when they opened and left a message, within 30 minutes or less they'd returned my call and said they'd be out that day. They called before they came to verify my problem and make sure they had the right parts with them. Two plumbers came and had everything replaced and repaired within a very short time. I have already referred them to a friend and will use them again.

The two plumbers who came out went above and beyond to find a leak and repair. They are thorough, hardly makes a mess, respectful of the property. One had to cut a couple of holes and he was very careful to cut the hole neatly and accurately, but at the same time, quickly. They clean up any mess they make. I will continue to use them and recommend them.

He supposedly fixed the leak but said he couldn't complete the work because it was connected to the irrigation, so he just left in the middle. The irrigation people found out that the joint in the pipe was still leaking and told me that the 'plumber charged you just for digging a hole'. He did not complete the work, and insisted the payment on the same day which my wife had to because his workers were not ready to leave without taking the check. I tried contacting him repeatedly to share the cost with irrigation, but he did not respond. I've never had this kind of experience.

Excellent. They were able to do the work in less than two hours, which kept the cost down on what I had done. I have used this plumber for several jobs over the last five years and have found them to be excellent in everything they do.

I called because the garbage disposal I purchased and had installed from John Estes Plumbing would not run. John showed up promptly but first said he didn't sell it to me then said he wouldn't honor the warranty. He didn't fix it and left in less than 20 minutes after giving me a name to call for warranty work. The referral he gave me said they had not done work like this for well over 10 years. I went online to find Mr Appliance as the local service provider for warranty work. Mr Appliance found the problem in 10 seconds , a screw had fallen in and was completely visible. I have been happy with this company in the past but this was not a good experience. First he doesn't want to do any warranty work even on products he sells and he laughed about charging me 80 dollars for less than 20 minutes. Not a professional attitude. I called him to tell him about it and he really didn't care. So now I don't either. Go elsewhere.

His price was pretty reasonable. He's worked for me for years now so I know from experience that he's competent and trustworthy. He comes when he says he's coming. He calls ahead and does good work. He teaches me how to do what he's doing, because I like to learn.

I called them to get an estimate to get my gas line installed. They came out and did the estimate, but never contacted me with the results. I called the company back over 15 times over the course of three weeks and never got a call back with the estimate. The receptionists took down my information and assured me that someone would call me back, but they never did. I would not recommend them to anyone who wants their service completed in a timely manner. They had no consideration for my time at all.

Plumber was called by carpet installers to check leak behind dishwasher. It was a cracked drain hose which the appliance repairman I got later said it could have easily been fixed--it was a drain line and I suppose could have been taped with waterproof tape. The dishwasher had already been pulled out, so all the plumber did was look at it. When I got the bill I called to see if the bill was a mistake they were going to adjust the bill. Then a guy got on the phone and said the meter started when he left the shop and that I lived out by Leesburg, which was not true. I live just minutes from downtown. I'm not aware of anything else the guy did other than this.

Faucets were fixed but shower still leaks.

It went very well. He fixed it very quickly and thoroughly.

We have used them for many plumbing jobs - big and small - over the years and have always been very pleased. They show up on time and get the job done quickly. They do a good job of asking in advance what parts are needed so that they bring the proper parts.
