IPM Pest and Termite

Service was excellent in all respects. Wes and Brian were both very professional and thoroughly explained the process and answered all questions I had. They always arrived on time, worked very efficiently and cleaned everything up when they left. I hope that I do not have any more pest problems (as I plan to renew my service warranty annually), but if I do, I will definitely call IPM. I will highly recommend them to family, friends and co-workers.

Matt Schaffer made initial visit to my home to go over treatment plan and cost. Matt came back a second time to answer a few more questions/concerns. Brian Bietz and assistant did the actual treatment. They all were very professional, friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. Brian explained what they would be doing before starting and also explained things when completed. I have already recommended IPM to two of my neighbors.

I called IPM last week on Wednesday to arrange for an estimate, and that estimate was arranged to take place Monday (yesterday). Then, on Thursday, Zach called and said, "I'll be in your area today if that's convenient for you". So here we squeezed in the estimate four days early. Nice. The estimate was extremely reasonable, and Zach scheduled my treatment for 21 days from the day of the estimate. The very following day I received another call saying, "We've had a cancellation. Would you like us to do your treatment this coming Tuesday?". Sweet. So, today the treatment was completed in about four hours, and I have the peace of mind of knowing that I have a professional treatment protecting my new home from termites, and a five year warranty if retreatment were to be necessary. Beyond that, I can purchase an annual inspection and extended warranty for just $95/year. IPM is prompt, professional, and very reasonable. I am quite pleased.

I own a quaint frame bungalow that was built in the 1940’s. While doing some spring cleaning in April, I discovered some mud along one of my exterior doors. You can imagine my surprise and dismay when I cleaned up the mud and found tiny worker termites eating away at the door facing! As it was a Sunday, I had no one to call so I did a lot of online research (Google, Angie’s List, etc.) and found Innovative Pest Management. I contacted them first thing on Monday morning, and they sent Justin out that same week to assess the situation and give me an estimate. I work weekdays and agreed to meet Justin during my lunch hour. He was very mindful of my tight schedule and arrived before the appointed time to inspect my house so that we would have time to meet and discuss my options. It turns out that IPM does not have salesmen – they send out their technicians to meet with potential clients. It was very refreshing! Justin was very polite and very knowledgeable (I learned more than I ever wanted to know about termites!), and he carefully explained the method they would use to rid my house of this pest. He also patiently answered all of my questions and concerns about the process. After meeting with Justin, I decided to look no further so he set up my appointment for early May (apparently termites are busy in the spring). The next day, he called to inform me that there had been a cancellation, and IPM was able to send Brian out to my house the following week to do the termite treatment. Brian was also very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He was punctual and went about his work in a most efficient manner. He took great care to clean up after himself and to leave things the way he found them. As you can see, it was a very positive experience so I can recommend IPM without reservation!

What started a a little start as a little rocky due to some miscommunication between myself and technician has blossomed into a great relationship. A all around good professional company. Their technicians that have service my residence have all been friendly, helpful, through and professional. Needless to say I have been very happy.

Kelby was early and put on foot covers when he arrived to protect our floors. I really appreciate the respect for our house. Kelby was very informative and patient with us, answering all our questions. He baited the ants indoor and sprayed the outside perimeter and the nest by the front porch. He also removed the outside spider webs. He then emailed me later that day describing the services performed. We will have quarterly perimeter spraying and they will come back anytime we see more ants. I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone with ant problems.

Justin was our tech and he was great. Very knowledgeable and explained what course of action he was going to take. Also, this was a rental property and he worked with me to coordinate meeting my tenant and myself there together. Very pleasant experience. Will differently use again and would ask for Justin.

Brian Bietz did a fabulous job for us. He was able to come sooner than promised to do the service. While he was here he did a very thorough job of taking care of the problem and making suggestions on how to fix the problem on an ongoing basis.

I had a very good experience. I didn't have them do any work but they were well in line with any other estimates I got and very professional. They did an inspection more or less without charging anything. They didn't do the work but they inspected it so they were fantastic.

IPM came out and found evidence of termite infestation and explained how nearly all houses are vulnerable to termite damage. He showed me signs of termites and discussed treatment option for the whole house that would be guaranteed for 15 years if I continued to pay $95 per year after initial treatment. After termite treatment to tad I also agree to a quarterly treatment for ants and other pests at $95 per quarter.

went very well, arrived on time, did not hurry and made sure a solution was in place. They placed traps around and before their visit I got an average of 1 per day, it has been 4 nights and have not got any, He even placed bait in the crawl space in case some remained in there.

We've been using Innovative Pest Management for almost two years. We live close to a stream and trees and wanted to get quarterly pest management before any problems arose. We've been happy with their service. I've had to call two or three times in the past two years with questions and the owner is very responsive. Work has been done on time, efficiently and professionally. Would definitely recommend.

I used them due to a recommendation by my bank for a refinancing inspection I needed to have completed. Innovative did a great job and their prices are reasonable . They were very efficient and clean during the whole inspection.

I've never learned so much about termites in my life. One day I was walking across my laminate wood floor and part of a plank crumbled under my foot. Didn't think anything about it..... It's where the kitchen table is, so my thought was someone may have hit the floor too hard with one of the kitchen chair legs at some point. A few weeks later, I came home from a business trip, and there were bugs around the hole. I took a picture of the bug for evidence, which turned out to be a good idea, because those things go away (underground) about as fast as they show up. I contacted IPM and they responded very quickly. Matt's initial inspection revealed I had termites. I had no idea that termites would eat laminate flooring, but found out they enjoy laminate as much as wood. I also found out that a chronic drywall crack under my kitchen window (about 15' from the floor damage) was actually a termite created crack. I had been patching it for over 2 years thinking it was a stress crack. During the inspection, the team showed me what they were looking for and why. They explained more about termites than you may ever want to know. They had an urgency I appreciated because I am on a tight work schedule; plus the thought of bugs eating away at my house was annoying. The procedure itself went as well as I think a termite eradication can go. My house is on a slab. Matt showed me several clear signs of termites, so holes had to be drilled not only around the perimeter where the yard was, but also inside the garage and across the driveway and the concrete front porch. The concrete in my garage is painted. The porch and driveway are raw concrete. I was worried about how it would look, but they did a very clean job and all of it looks great. While they were here, I had them also do general pest control. My garage is an apparent vacation destination for bugs and spiders. I've cleaned the garage, and sprayed a couple times a year, and still the spiders and those millipede things were always present. 4 months post treatment, not a spider or millipede is in site. Speaking of the garage, I have a lot of stuff in there. When I was told it would all need to be moved out from the wall a few feet and kept like that for a week, I thought it would be a huge job. It wasn't bad. The team worked around as many objects as they could while still providing an effective service. They use termidor (or something like that) for the termite extermination. I knew nothing about what would be used, but was later told by a co-worker that this is the "cadillac" of pet control options - so kudos to IPM for that one. The team extremely professional, personable and thorough. This group loves bugs and loves helping get rid of them. I was really amused by their enthusiasm for what they do. I know I will not see another termite. If will call them again and again if I have any pest (of the bug variety) at my house. I was just so surprised that a termite experience actually turned out to be a good one.

He had visited my home some months back to confirm whether we had an infestation of termites or carpenter ants or just ants. The weather was not conducive for spraying so we decided to wait until summer. Today they came and sprayed for the ants.

When they came to inspect they were on time and very professional. They provided literature about termites and the kind of treatment they were recommending which I found helpful as a homeowner. They found one minor small spot of termite damage in the basement and evidence of termites in one location the yard close to the house. They recommended treating by making a barrier around the home which involved some drilling on the front porch. They were willing to answer all questions and address any concerns I expressed. The process of having the treatment completed went smoothly and very professionally. If I have a criticism it would be that they did not inspect the crawl space until the day of treatment. I would have preferred that the crawl space be evaluated from the beginning, although given that the treatment was appropriate regardless this may be a mute point. I will use this company in the future.

It was a fine experience. He was timely. There were no additional costs. My said they do what they say they will do.
