Horrible builder, too many defects to list. Refused to fix a lot of them saying they were to hus standard even though the contract says to our standard. Even refused to fix things that were not to plan saying we didn't catch them in time. Cut corners where ever he thought he could and made excuses to why. Put in cheap hvac even though we paid for top brand. Don't waste your hard earned money on this sub par builder.

Terrible builder. There are so many defects in the house due to poor workmanship and building it is not funny. I have a saying when I find new stuff: "It is a Reckelhoff job". Had flooding of basement due to improperly routed sump pump drainage with no check valves in place. Had to re-do sump pump drainage at significant cost to me. Doors are not plumb. Nail pops everywhere. I just replaced the small deck that came with the house and to no surprise found more examples of "Reckelhoff work": Posts set in clay with no concrete. Quick and dirty job for builder. Looks like they will cut a corner in a microsecond if you are not looking. Drainage from downspout placed half way in yard. Damages turf with heavy rain. Will need to re-do. Staff makes itself very unavailable when there are real problems to take care of. Do some careful research if planning on using this builder.

WE WERE EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH THE DETAIL AND QUALITY OF THESE HOMES. WE WERE ALSO IMPRESSED WITH JOE HIMSELF. HE TALKED A LOT ABOUT THE REASONS BEHIND WHAT HIS COMPANY DID VERSUS OTHER COMPANIES AND WE WERE VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO BUILDING WITH HIM. IN THE MEANTIME, WE GOT AN OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A RELATIVELY NEW HOME THAT WAS IN IMPECCABLE CONDITION. THIS HOME HAD ALL OF THE FEATURES WE NEEDED AND BY PURCHASING RATHER THAN BUILDING, WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO GO INTO AN APARTMENT WITH OUR THREE SMALL CHILDREN. IF WE BUILD IN THE FUTURE, IT WILL BE WITH JOE.
