+ 0 moreBill Hodges and his team were excellent from day one. He stuck to the plans we asked him to carry out but also made good suggestions for improvements throughout the process. Most importantly, it has been almost 6 years since the work was done and it has stood up very well. I've had other professionals look at the work he did and all were impressed with the quality and attention to detail. For example, he put copper sheeting at the tops of all the support piers under the house. That helps prevent termites. We didn't ask him to do that but it was a smart detail that adds to the long-term value of his work.

+ -1 moreMy one complaint if that it took so long to get the job completed. It was a small job and I needed to have it done before putting the house up for sale. This company was engaged in larger jobs and as a small job my project was not a priority for them. They were unfailingly polite.
Description of Work: The work performed was to repair/replace water damaged engineered wood in the living room. The initial effort involved selecting a stain shade that would be a close match to the original shade. This proved unsuccessful. The next step involved removing the water- damaged portion and replacing it with ceramic tile and portions of the leftover wood from the original installation about 12 years ago. This part of the job was complicated by the fact that the flooring was so tightly glued to the sub-flooring that they had to remove it and then replace the sub flooring before continuing with the repair. The job was more complicated than appeared initially. The quality of workmanship is excellent.
