I got an estimate to replace the glass with tempered glass. Estimate was given and I hired them to do the job.

This work was done on a two story building with a glass front. We had to redesign the structure which involved coordinating with masonry and steel contractors. Hek was was professional, easy to work with and were able to fit in well to the needs of the tenant, and the other contractors. They offered helpful suggestions regarding this upgrade and when the work was done it looked great and continues to look great. Would definitely call them again.

The representatives we interacted with from Hek Glass were thoroughly helpful and professional. It only took a technician five minutes or so at the first appointment to measure the window. They weren't able to give an estimate before ordering the new unit from their supplier, but once they did, they promptly called with the number. The only real issue was that they discovered a crack in the unit they ordered right before they loaded it to come to our repair appointment, so they had to reorder and reschedule, but they were able to expedite the order and fit us in again within the same week. The cost was reasonable, and I'd happily use them again for glass repair.

During painting of my windows I broke 2 panes due to hardened putty or other material holding glass in very old wooden frames. Hek Glass have some experienced glaziers who went beyond just cutting and puttying new panes. They also installed a bead of wood and tried to improve the frame before installing the new glass. They used silicon sealant (which cannot be painted) instead of a paintable decorators sealant but otherwise this was a great job.
