I've hired fencers before and Griggs Fence Co was VERY GOOD. I have both small and large dogs so I need an installer willing to do what it takes to hug the ground despite my rolling hills. Very good attention to detail. Very knowledgeable. Willing to use materials provided to them. Very good communication on costs, supplies needed and scheduling. Willing to obtain and deliver additional supplies at purchase cost. Hard working team of 3-4 completed project in 5 days. Charged $20/hole and $40/hole if jackhammering required, $2 per linear foot to string 5' welded wire fencing, $200 to hang the gates, $50 trip charge per day due to extended drive time. Loved them and would hire them again.

Came out and measured. We looked at photos and I shared pictures of what I wanted. They phoned back with an estimate and we scheduled work. They were always punctual. Work is done very well and efficiently. I wanted benches built on each side of the gate with an arbor over the benches and gate. Neither of us had seen the exact design and I can't draw so we were winging it a little. Loretta (yes, a woman, and she can really work!!!) drew a sketch and talked with me all through that particular part of the process as we designed the end cuts on the arbor, angle and size of the benches, etc. It looks so good! We have gotten lots of complements and strangers have stopped by to get her name. Griggs had done the remainder of our fence about 17 years ago and it still looks great, so I was very confident having them again. I had forgotten their name and called a couple of other companies for quotes but was so glad I finally remembered because Loretta just instills so much more confidence due to her professionalism. I can't remember the other quotes but I know she was lower than one and, actually, the other guy was so goofy I didn't even try to talk with him about the gate.
