+ -1 moreWanted the same color and finish. The first attempt resulted in a very yellow/gold stain whereas the original had a very slight pink tone. The second attempt had another finish coat applied that resulted in a pink but very cloudy opaque look. I have called Bob twice, left messages, spoken to his assistant, and so far he has not responded; he has not been a good communicator throughout. No payment has been requested as yet.
Description of Work: Had a round distressed end table refinished due to small acetone spill (visible in the first photo). Just the top was to be refinished which meant the top should match the side.

+ 7 moreMike is the consummate professional. Before trying to fix a problem, he figures out its source. If the job is one he cannot do himself, he has a network of trusted contacts. On our recommendation several neighbors and family members have used Mike and were uniformly pleased with his work.
Description of Work: We have a home that was built ca. 1950 on a small farm with horses. Something always needs to be repaired. Since finding Mike Lawson three years ago, he has helped us with every repair imaginable. He has painted inside and out, removed wallpaper, cleaned gutters, patched roof holes, repaired outdoor furniture, hauled away debris, split wood, pressure washed outdoor furniture, and fixed multiple things in the barn and pastures--hung new gates, unstuck stall doors, built new shelving for my tack room. We would be lost without Mike!
