 + 0 moreI would not recommend this company if you have a lot of work to complete. Only for small jobs that can be completed a couple of hours. I did choose another company who was able to tell me it would take 2 days to complete the work and provided a written estimate upfront.
Description of Work: I called this company because the online reviews were positive and the website was decent. When I originally contacted Mr. Hill I asked for a free estimate. He said he did them and then mentioned that he charges $75 for time and materials. Mr. Hill arrived a little late, which was not a problem, then proceeded to stay 4 hours. During that time not only did we discuss the electrical issues in my home, but he proceeded to look up information regarding my home floor repairs and other things that I planned on completing on my home. I didn't think much of it at the time until the end when he said I owed him for 4 hours with of time. I thought he was there for a free estimate. Besides looking at my electrical issues, the only electrical work he did was to vacuum out the electrical panel. When it came time for him to provided me with a quote he could barely say how much it would cost, then told me that if he had to give me a number it would cost $3000, but could not tell me how long it would take to complete the project. How he could honestly charge me for four hours worth of work is beyond me. (I did pay it and I feel horrible for doing so, since I feel that I was conned out of the money.) When I asked for him to submit a bid, he could barely do that. Definately not a professional. He is a nice guy, but not someone I would do business with since it did not appear he was willing to provide a contract and expected 50% payment up front.

 + -1 moreRon was supposed to be here at 10:00 AM. Called at 10:15 and said he was warming up his truck. Arrived around 11:00. He left at 12:00. When it was time to pay he said two hours - I didn't argue, I just paid him.
Description of Work: Fix an outlet that had quit.

 + -1 moreCalled because of continual power outages throughout the night. Very prompt return phone call to give estimate. More impressive though, he called back soon afterwards to recommend calling my electrical company to check with them (which turned out to be the problem), saving me a lot of money and time. While it might have cost him an easy job right now, his honesty was much appreciated and might have earned them a customer for a long time.

 + -1 moreI had a great experience. Ron Hill is the owner and came over himself to inspect the problem. Within one hour I had power back and he re-wired my damaged wires. Very neat and professional.
Description of Work: Fixed bathroom, kitchen and laundry room electricity. Came over and gave free estimate for electrical problem.
