 + -1 moreHe was familiar with our gas log unit. It was on display at his company's business site and he had one in his own home.
Description of Work: Our unvented gas log system newded service. The pilot light ignited, but the burner did not ignite. I called Fireplace Concepts a week ago and was scheduled for today at 10 to 11. At 10 Thomas arrived, diagnosed the problem, (pilot light valve and companion valve needed cleaned by compressed air), he took the burner appartus outside, cleaned it, reassembled it, installed clean wool, reassembled the logs, noticed two broken logs needed replaced, ordered them to be delivered, called after he left with a price for a log, $25, and told us the estimated delivery date. He left about 45 minutes later and called a half hour afterward with additional information about the broken logs.

 + -1 moreIt took about a month from the time I called them until they could come out, they are busy ! The tech arrived on time wasted no time , cleaned up and had it going in no time, my only concern was I didn't receive an invoice.
Description of Work: My gas fireplace pilot light would not stay lit and my gas logs would not light.

 + -1 moreThe service in the showroom was very professional. The install crew was prompt, courteous, ran the new gas line and set up our new fireplace. It was fast and frankly impressive to watch. I would definitely recommend fireplace concepts again.

Description of Work: The service personal cleaned and tuned up our direct vent natural gas fireplace. He was very professional and thorough, but was running a little late. He stated that the fire[lace is operating correctly and that we should not have any problems. One thing I will add and it may not be anything, I feel the fire looks different. The logs don't glow as much as they did before. My wife thinks the fire looks okay.

Description of Work: I had a fireplace that was not burning cleanly and was leaving soot on the fireplace enclosure and mantle. They were prompt, professional and did an excellent job in cleaning and adjusting the unit. It works great and eliminated all of the soot. Well done!

 + 0 moreCame to our home and gave us an estimate on what he was going to do, along with the cost. Showed up on time put in a gas line and installed the fireplace. Explained in detail how to use the fireplace and remote control. This was accomplished in the 6 hour time frame. They had the utilities mark the gas phone and electric service area and took care of getting the local permits. Cleaned up when finished. They did their job in a very friendly and professional manner.

 + -1 moreFirst off, I will say that we found this company because one of their competitors told us to call Charlie Webb for the gas pipe install that we needed as they did not do that sort of work. When Charlie came out to give us an estimate he mentioned his company, Fireplace Concepts, and we decided to get a second quote. Im very happy to say that we are SO glad that we did as we saved at least $1,500 and a few weeks of waiting by working with Fireplace Concepts. Overall the scheduling, removal and installation went very well. The crew, all of who were personable and professional, showed up on time and got right to work. While there were a couple of unexpected problems with the installation of the new fireplace, the crew worked very well in resolving them and came back three additional times to get the job done properly. We were kept well informed of the challenges and solutions as they arose. However, all the work was done within the week and at no time did it impose any inconvenience on us. The clean-up was thorough and the final outcome looks great! I highly recommend this company and the fine gentlemen that work for them.
