Can never find right person in office to talk to, and their records are

The kitchen sink drains down to the pipes in the basement and becomes intermittently plugged. I have worked on the problem in the past with varying results. Professional plumbers have had intermittent success but the problem tends to recur. Fayette Plumbing responded quickly, on time and with the correct equipment. They opened the trap in the kitchen drain system and broke up the clog adding hot water to flush the debris into the septic tank. After they were finished the basement was clean and all of the portals closed and the plumbing has worked ever since. They were also kind enough to teach me what to do to keep from having this happen again. We have been elated with the result.

Fayette responded quickly, diagnosed problem and provided estimate. They would not know if part was in stock until next day and also setup one of their sales people to come out to provide estimate on new system since old system was 17 years old. They followed up that part was not in stock but I decided to go with new system anyway and they installed the next day. They are very concerned with not leaving a mess inside or out. Would definitely use them again.

Before my husband died he said this is where I needed to call if I needed to get any heating and air conditioning work done. I have used him all these years. The price is dependent on what needs to be done. He comes when he says he will; it may not be same-day service but they tell me when they'll be here.

I've used Fayette Heating and Air since 1983. I like them because if I can't get their service the same day it's usually within 24 hours and their people are friendly. I can let them work on the air conditioner and go to work and know that they'll close the garage door and shut the gate and everything would be fine. I haven't had any problems with any of them in terms of bad work or work that had to be redone. I think one time they had to come back because one of my outlets was three inches shy of where the inspector wanted it and they came back and had to dig it out and I thought that was picky and one time in 30 years is pretty good. They just bought a couple of plumbers out of business, so they also have a division within they're company called H2O Maestro and they just put in a tankless water heater for me. I've never met their plumber guy and he doesn't even live here in Lexington and they bought his business out in Georgetown. He's knowledgeable and impressive and was easy to talk to and could answer questions. You can dial Fayette Heating and Air number and you can ask to speak to somebody about the plumbing and don't have to have two phone numbers which is nice. The price was actually cheaper than I thought it was going to be.

The service man was able to quickly find and repair problem. However, the service call was and quot;scheduledand quot; between 10am - 2pm. It was after 5pm before service man arrived.

I had a very positive experience from the start when I called to inquire about service, to setting up the appointment and to having the work performed in a timely manner with good quality and workmanship. My major disappointment and complaint came when I received the bill. In addition to 2 hours of labor, I was charged another hour of labor ($75.00) for the 15 minutes that 2 men came to give me a and quot;free estimateand quot;. When I called to question being charged for the free estimate, I was told that his policy was that this charge wouldn't have occurred had I declined the job, but that since the work was done, he had to re-coup the expense of having the men come out especially since he charges less than other plumbers. He was very firm in defending the bill despite my argument that this was not my idea of a and quot;free-estimateand quot; and that he actually had it backwards. My feeling is that this is deceptive advertising and that knowing this upfront would have been helpful. You can bet that I will ask more questions in the future and try to have everything in writing before Ihave work performed.

They came and took care of our problem, and left the kitchen clean. No problems. Great service.

We had some mixup in the time frame of the work from the time I originally had them look at the project until they actually did the work. This could have been as much my fault as theirs. Next time, I would be clearer in letting them know exactly when I wanted them back to do the work. Once we actually got going, the job went very smoothly. They supplied the tub and installed shower parts I had purchased elsewhere. I would definately not hesitate to use them again.

They are service oriented which I like. I have a complaint: they do not supply a proof of purchase, they give you a pre-purchase list which is an estimate of what the service will cost. I called to complain but they just blew me off. After they were done, there wasn't anything with my model number on it or anything and I am upset about that. I don't doubt that they will honor my warranty, but a receipt or invoice is all that I would have as proof. They cashed my check and that is more or less all that I have. For example, if they go out of business, I won't have anything to give to the manufacturer with all of the important information. I got stood up one day for an appointment because they had to deal with another customer, but they didn't give me a good reason why. They were very professional once they were here.

They showed up on time. They were courteous and did the job well.

They are a good company, and they are able help their customers 24/7. Their employees are trained and certified. I was impressed that they had everything and up and running within six hours. The installation couldn't have gone better. Basically, I think they're first rate! Also, I think this company really has heart as evidenced by their local charity work.

Technician performed the check and recommended several means to further cool out home. Was not pushy and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need or want. Just checked out unit to make sure it was properly working and fully charged. They will be the people I call when something is really wrong with our AC unit.

My overall experience with them was excellent. The owner of the company discussed all of my options in detail and came up with a solution that was very affordable.

We don't use anyone else for our plumbing or heating issues. We don't have to call them often, and the results are always satisfactory.

We went with some other company. We actually have used them within the past year. I thought that they were a little expensive and so wouldn’t use them. They came on time.

They were on time. They provided all the services that they promised and the after sales service as well. There was a rebate offer for a new heat pump at that time and they were very helpful in providing updated paperwork to meet the requirements for that. I would use them in the future.

Great! Doug put on a new washer and it stopped the leaking. Also, told me how to keep this problem from happening. Don't turn faucet off so hard.. They have worked for us many times. Honest and reasonable price.

Turned on the outdoor faucet for the first time this year on Thursday evening. The faucet made a lot of noise, the handle seemed to pop out a bit, the water came on at full pressure, and the faucet would not turn off. I shut off the water at the main valve and with no water flow, the faucet could be turned off. The faucet had given me some problems last fall but I let it go through the winter. Called Fayette Plumbing about 10:30 am on Friday and the owner (Ben Magedanz) said he had a plumber available who could be right out if that worked for me. This surprised me; since this was not an emergency (water was on in the house; we just couldn't use the outdoor faucet) I expected that the work might not get done until the next week. I left work and met the plumbers at the house. They were very prompt and arrived a few minutes after I did. They tested the faucet and said the faucet just needed a replacement kit. The faucet is one designed to prevent freezing and has a rubber-tipped plunger that shuts the water a few inches back in the wall. Apparently the threading on the handle had worn out (the house is 20 years old) and wouldn't allow a shut-off under pressure.They did not have a replacement kit on the truck. My choice was to let them replace the faucet with a new one which would require tearing into the wall, wait for them to return with the kit, or reschedule. I had to return to work and since the repair could be done from outside the house, we agreed on a fourth alternative: they would return with the kit and turn the water off at the street and complete the job. When I got home, the work was finished: new brass fitting, new handle, and the faucet turned on and off smoothly with no noise. They did a neat job, left no mess on the patio by the faucet. I failed to ask for an estimate up front, but the price was in the range I expected it would be based on what I have paid for plumbing work in the past. They were prompt, polite, and did a good job. I will definitely call Fayette Plumbing, Heating, and AC again. Based on this work, I will also try them if I have furnace or AC problems. If you need a plumber, I recommend you give them a call.

Had another company come out and leave us stranded because they told us that we needed a whole new furnace ($3,500). They helped out in a pinch and came that day. They diagnosed the problem quickly, but did not have the part to install that day. The next day, they got the part in and installed it quickly. They communicated very.well and really helped us out in 20 degree weather. They were very honest when another company tried to take advantage of the situation.

Good job, good advice, a pleasure to do business with.

We have used them for a very long time. They are reliable, reasonable and they do good work. They come within the time stated that they say they will. They are very nice on the phone and a very nice company to work with. We call them when we have a plumbing problem.
