Engineered Heating and Air

Repair was done and unit was up and cooling once again. The A/C unit was about 20 years old and the service person worked to get unit cooling without trying to sell me a new unit. Very happy with the work done.

Very good, installation 2 days, both units have worked great, and lower my operating cost, I am in the sheet metal business and very picky about work at my house and the mechanics on the job did a very professional job, with the units and the duct, the trane unit installed emails me each month with the operation time I would call them for service but don’t need any

The employee that came to my house was so knowledgeable and really took his time to diagnose the problem. He was super friendly and so helpful in explaining what was going on!

Project and installation went very well but that was no surprise since this is Engineered H&A's second major installation for us. These people are highly professional, highly skilled, and efficient. Tom (owner) is a certified professional engineer so knows how to design a system so it solves the problem, the installation is a smooth process, and the end results works as desired. They did not provide the lowest bid on either project but I know because of their design, installation went as planned and I didn't need to hire carpenters, or plasterers to provide finish work following installation--which would have been the case with other bids. Installation workers are knowledgeable, trustworthy and especially considerate of one's house. I would be willing to turn over my house keys to them, leave town during installation, and know everything had been well cared for in my absence. I give all these folks an A+ with absolutely no reservation.

We called them on a Sunday morning, they responded within 5 minutes with a phone call, and were at our house in about an hour since they were on another call. Our Technician was professional on the phone and he had a good idea to what the problem was even before he arrived. He replaced the capacitor for the condenser fan motor and now works it works like new. We will be calling this A/C contractor from now on since the company that we have been using did not even respond after 3 phone calls to their answering service.

Everything seemed to be fine. They did the work in a timely manner and from what I can see upstairs, everything looks fine. They've also been doing service maintenance on my heating & air for 2 years now.

The compressor on the heat pump had shut down and unit was running on auxiliary heat. I called Engineered Heat and Air and was advised that they would have a tech to my house by late afternoon. Actually tech (Joe) called me about two hours earlier than expected. I had also requested that a new filter be brought along. (I am a senior and disabled and can't go under the house in the crawl space where the air handler is located). Joe determined that the computer that controls the compressor had imposed a "lock out" on the compressor due to restricted air flow in the system. Joe replaced the air filter and the compressor was up and running again. He checked out everything on the unit and advised that they will need to send someone back in a week or two when the weather is more temperate to be sure the charge is ok, although it appeared to be fine. I was very impressed with Joe. Very professional and thorough.

They had the lowest estimate for us, the proposal they showed p was very comprehensive. I spike with the owner of the company and he answered all my questions and they were able to answer all my questions in a reasonable amount of time.

It went great. When we called Friday morning, the lady who answered the phone was wonderfully helpful. She had a repairman come to our house by 2 pm the same day. His name was Tim, and he was A+. He diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain pipe. Tim had to go buy a part, and then he blew out the drain (including cleaning it with Chlorox so it wouldn't happen again) and I believe he drained a fan, too. He was calm and determined to do it right, and he was reassuring that he could fix it. Also, when Tim left, he told us to be sure to call if there was any problem. It's been working beautifully and I can't say enough positive things about Engineered Heating and Air, and about these two great staff members.

All work was performed to my satisfaction and the technician was willing to discuss my concerns and answer my questions.

I have not heard from them; part of my responsibility is to schedule my A/C tune up. But, I've had them do some service in my furnace in past years and do the tune up, and they've always seemed very polite and good communication.

Went well, some ceiling damages while installing but paid to fix.

I don't have anything negative to say about them.

The actual work was 2 hours. The workers were excellent. The left the area spectacular when they were finished.

Did a great job diagnosing problems and making proper repairs.

Tim is very friendly and professional. He explained what he was doing and he refilled freon.

I would absolutely use them again. They have been doing all of my work for 7 years. They come out twice a year to make sure everything is running right and if there is a problem they catch it before it breaks. I think they are honest, dependable, and trustworthy.

Tried to patch several times waiting for new drip pan which never came due to company going out of busines and new company was back logged. Leaking pan in attic dripped through kitchen ceiling twice before businesd finally had a new pan constructed and lined with rubber to prevent rusting.

Great. Technician answered my questions and showed me how to change the filter in my furnace.

Fine, AC is fixed and they were fast and reliable

It was frustrating and discouraging and it was disappointed because they had a high review but they didn't gave me the same service.

Everything went very smooth. Even offered to get us a portable A/C unit if we couldn't stand the heat anymore. Installers did a great job. I would highly recommend this company
