Description of Work: Came to the house three times. They thought they had it fixed and charged us $650. It would run for a while then stop running. They came out the second time and got it restared again and it stopped working again. The manager came out the third time and was able to locate the problem. They did not charge us anything extra because he said they needed to have found it the first time. The guy that came the first two times stayed for 4 hours on each trip. He was trying to get to the bottom of the problem. They were prompt and efficient and said they would do exactly what they inteneded to do.

Description of Work: Replaced furnace and added electronic air cleaner. Good price, no hassel, and they left the jobsite clean.

Description of Work: ENGINEERED HEATING AND AIR preformed the diagnostic services and determined that I had a leak in the coils. The coils had been installed less than 2 years ago (by another party) ENGINEERED determined that the coils where still under warranty by the manufacture. Services was for replacing the coils and recharging the unit with R-22 refrigerant (8 pounds) after the repairs we shut down the A/C as it was still cool outside 60+/- about two weeks later temperature went up to 80 so it was time to turn the ac on. I notices the system was blowing warm air I let it run for about an hour but still the same I call ENGINEERED rescheduled someone to come back out to look at it (this took about a week before someone could come out) tech determined that the line had cracked during the install and it was not detectable at that time. He repaired the system and recharged the unit (at no cost to me) the system has been working great since. Total coast to be $69 for the diagnostic, $800 for the repair. Someone who stands behind their work priceless.

Description of Work: We had a furnace replaced 4 months after buying a house. Their price was less than other providers for the same unit and we were able to take advantage of Lowe's financing. They were very helpful and accommodating throughout the process.

Description of Work: Tom Rudd came by (on time and as scheduled) and looked at the house. We talked about needs and requirements, and I gave him drawings of the house for planning purposes. The project was to consist of whole house/central air conditioning. He said he would be back with me the following week, and I've not heard from him since. I can understand that he may not want to undertake the project, but a phone call or e-mail to that extent would have been nice, or just plain common courtesy.

Description of Work: We had our indoor unit go out (Transformer blown, control board fried). Another company looked at it and recommended we buy a new system from them without pricing out repairing the items which were under warranty. Tom looked at the system and thought a repair would be better. We spent 280 and it is working like a charm. Also the quote he gave for a new system was better than the competitor by a good margin.
