+ -1 moreDeWayne Hobbs came and repaired my Whirlpool Duet Dryer. He was prompt, called ahead and was spot on the two hour window I was given that morning. I cannot say enough good things about his professional demeanor. He had the dryer working within 30 minutes. He also sat down with me and explained the dangers of not cleaning the dryer vent pipe going outside. He gave the names of two companies that will come out and do a good job of cleaning those vents. I will call this company again. His price was fair, he had the part with him.
Description of Work: Whirlpool duet dryer was not working. The sensing light would come on but that was it. He replaced the thermostat.

+ -1 moreEagle was referred to us by A-1 Appliance. Eagle arrived promptly and returned the following two days and installed the new pump. Eagle could have charged us more by replaced the seal/gasket around the door, but, as the repairman explained, the gasket on all of these models cracks within a few months anyway.
Description of Work: Replaced the pump on a Maytag washer.

Many other appliance repairmen would have taken my money and ran but Dewayne cares about the customer and repeat business. I will contact him first in the future.

I asked who they would recommend and they gave me Eagle I called and they were very professional made apt for next day. repairman arrived on time , spent almost an hour going over washer and then gave me my options. Was very professional , courteous. I would definitely use again and recommend to my friends
Description of Work: had a nine yr old front load washer that was not performing as it should ... After checking it out thoroughly repairman gave me the cost and time to repair. Since it was going to cost me more than half the price of new washer I decided not to have repaired.

+ -1 moreFound water leaking into basement and started hearing metal on metal sounds in dryer in early November 2012. Called Eagle Appliances and DeWayne showed up on time to diagnose. Found ruptured water hose on washing machine and broken bracket on drum of dryer. While here we asked about getting better tasting ice from our ice maker and rotting water transfer hose to upper sprayer in dishwasher. DeWayne researched, gave us approximate prices, and then ordered after we agreed. He was able to return in a few days with all parts and repair all items within a few hours. No problems even now 6 months later with any of the repairs nor replaced parts. Excellent service, focused and competent repairman.
Description of Work: Replaced drum on dryer. Replaced hose kit on washer. Replaced dishwasher spray kit. Installed two in-line water filters for ice maker in freezer.

Even had a washer that proabaly could have been repaired but told me it was honestly better to just get a new one, could have repaired and had to keep calling him back. They were very responsive, coming the day after they were called (this was not an emergency), arriving at the time promised and solving the problem systematically and thoroughly. The service person completely tested the dishwasher before leaving and carefully explained what he had done and the associated charges.

+ -1 moreThey have fixed my washer, dryer, oven, microwave and my refrigerator over a 6 year time., Always on time, easy to deal with and have been able to fix or help replace my appliances.
Description of Work: I have used Eagle appliance repair for over 6 years now. My refrigerator was leaking once and I called another company as they were cheaper and it was just a waste of money and time. I will never call anyone else but Eagle appliance. If they cannot fix it, no one can. What I really like about them is, if it is going to cost more to fix your appliance than if it would to replace it, they will tell you even though they do not make any money. You never have to worry about letting them into your home. Just a really good solid company, I highly reccomend them!

+ -1 moreI called to schedule service about week before after I found them on Angie's list, and I kinda felt like they tried to talk me out of using them, but they finally scheduled me and appointment for the 27th. He came out and pretty much told me what I feared it would cost more to fix it then to buy a new one. I had left it unplugged to long and it would need a new fan motor and another part. He was nice and honest about it, and didn't try to talk me into an unreasonable repair like alot of places. Would call again if I needed something.

I had had another company work on it, but I felt it was not better.DeWayne Hobbs fixed two places the other company had worked on that were not right. He could see instantly where it was not right. He was familiar enough with my machine that he knew it was spinning correctly. I had trouble with an odor in the machine. He left me tablets to run through and told me what to buy to do it again.Because it was not an emergency, I had to wait about 10 days an appointment. But it was worth it. He was prompt, worked quickly, and knew the washer. I would definitely use him again and I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: The first visit he came to replace a piece worn out on the door. Warrantee covered the cost. Second time the frig was out of warrantee. He made adjustments fixed the door issue again, gave some advice on how to talk with the manufacturer about getting a new ice maker. Very helpful. Ice maker still works.

The total price was about what I expected I'd have to pay. The only negative aspect is that now I have no more excuses to avoid doing the laundry!
Description of Work: After a disastrous attempt to schedule an appointment with Sears to repair my Kenmore washer, I came to Angie's List and picked Eagle Appliance Service. I called them on Tuesday, scheduled the appointment for Wednesday afternoon. The woman who took my call was polite and called on Wednesday to confirm the appointment.

The washer wasn't but four years old and he was trying to help me not to have to buy a new one. He was always on time and would call first to let me know he was on his way. He is very friendly and professional and knows what he is doing. I always felt comfortable with him in my home. The parts I needed were ordered promptly and he came to install them as soon as he received them. I would recommend Eagle Appliance Service to everyone.

Description of Work: We have had problems with two dishwashers located in the same space.The first experience led us to replace a relatively new dishwasher(2 days past the end of warranty!). When this one started to do the same thing as the replaced washer had done,I decided it couldn't hurt to join Angies list.We had been so disappointed with the last repair company. I am so glad I did that! Eagle came out,diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and returned to finish the job. All this was done on time,by very nice people who stayed in contact during the time we were waiting for the part to arrive! We were also very pleased with the bill.It was very fair for their time and the cost of the part. I now have my dishwasher back,it performs beautifully and I could not be more pleased with all aspects of the service. Thank you so much!
