Distinctive Design Remodeling

I was very pleased with Distinctive Design. They were very professional. Chris,The Senior Project Manager kept me informed every step of the construction. All of the crews were very knowledgable of their specific craft. I love my new room.

We are very happy with our finished basement! I would recommend DDR and will keep in mind for future remodeling needs. Only suggestion would be to have a detailed design document or blue prints created after sales meeting but prior to start of construction.

In short, it went great! We were impressed by the number and quality of skilled professionals and the coordination among them. Once the construction started, they were able to finish the project in a month as they had estimated, in spite of many days of rain. The crew members showed up whenever they said, put in long hours, and were professional in all their dealings with us. It was clear how the crew members took pride in their work and how attentive they were to the details. Their coordination of work from delivery of materials, laying the foundation, framing the room, building the deck, and clean up was all we could have hoped for. They were flexible in working with us on the design and even went beyond what we agreed on in the original plans. Our new and beautiful room and deck actually exceed our expectations in the quality and soundness of construction and design. We are thrilled with the final product and would not hesitate to use DDR for future projects.

Very professional - I had some issues with my neighborhood association, Chris, my foreman, took care of everything for me. My neighbor watched everything DDR was doing and had even talked to the the workers, he mentioned to me several times on what an excellent job they were doing and how professional they were. The salesperson who sold me the sunroom was also very knowledgeable and helped me with the many decisions I had to make. Cost - I had called several companies, including companies that just built sunrooms since that was was I was getting. DDR was overall the best price with the end result being more a part of my house than just a sunroom added. Informative - Since I had no clue as to the process of building an addition to my home, I found my foreman and workers to be very informative in keeping me in the loop on what was going on. Chris, my foreman, let me know each night who was coming the next day and what they were doing. Money well spent, I absolutely love my new sunroom and have had many compliments from friends and neighbors. Thanks DDR!

Chris was very courteous and kept us informed of each step in the project. All of the work crews and inspectors were very professional and courteous as well. They did an awesome job on our sunroom and deck. We plan on enjoying it for years to come. We will recommend Distinctive Design Remodeling to others by word of mouth and by sign in our front yard. I feel very fortunate to have found Distinctive Design Remodeling at a home and garden show. A representative met with me immediately after I contacted them and spent the time to fully listen to my needs and expectations. We had met with several other builders and were very impressed by Jesse. His estimate was precise and included all aspects of the room addition project. Every one of the sub contractors did a superb job and Chris,the project manager, keep me informed every step of the way. I could not be more pleased with our new addition and would absolutely use DDR again and refer them to anyone looking for a remodeling company

From start to finish, the DDR team was terrific! They made everything so easy for me, and got the job done on time. They worked with me on a change I added mid-stream and made the entire process stress free. Special mention to my project manager, Ian, who was in constant contact. He walked this newbie to construction projects through every step with excellent customer service and patience!

The team at DDR had great communication during the process. THey were extrememly fast in completing the work (one company we spoke to gave us a completion date projection of 6-8 months!) , DDR was done in 2 and a half months! The work was high quality, the employees were respectable and polite, hardworking too! I am so happy with the additional space in our home! Thanks DDR for a great job!

Very well. Ian the job supervisor did an excellent job with the coordination and communication throughout the construction process !

The structure itself was under roof within 3 days. However, the contract foreman did not communicate when there were days of no activity; telling us why we weren't seeing them or telling us when they would return. Two months later we were waiting for minor finishing tasks to be completed. All subcontracting was done by Spanish speaking workers with whom we were unable to communicate. We had to ask the foreman to tell his workers NOT to park in our driveway, to close the gates when they were finished for the day so our two dogs would not walk away. The workers did NOT clean up. Nails ( dozens) were left for dogs to step on, as well as personal items discarded on our patio. Because of the language barrier and because every stage of this job involved a new set of workers, it was a difficult working relationship.

Ongoing, weather restricting full cleanup, landscaping and final finish. But looks like final project will be acceptable.

Some delays in work and workmanship quality lacking without oversight and having work redone.

The work was comleted to my satfication and in a timely maner

Outstanding! After dealing all summer with two other companies trying to get this project done and getting nowhere it was great to work with professionals. They kept to the schedule and had our cover built in less than 3 weeks. Quality materials and workmanship led to a beautiful finished project. I highly recommend this company.

Ian Baker and crew did a great job. Everyone was very respectful and answered all my questions. I was always informed on what and when things would be done. I highly recommend DDR.

It went really well. Our project manager Ian Baker did a great job of coordinating everyone and communicating with us. We knew who was going to be there when and what to expect as each day progressed. The contractors they choose were a pleasure to work withand did a great job. We needed some extra work to try to tie somethings together and was able to hire some of there contractors outside the job to handle these matters. I'm definetly considering hiring them again for some basement remodeling in the future.

DDR is great! Chris handled everything! I just sat back and relaxed. All the people who came to my house to work on building the garage were very professional, timely, and courteous! My garage is built so well. My project manager, Chris kept me informed at every stage of construction. I have a background in art and design and to say that I am detain oriented is an understatement. I made a few changes as the project progressed and Distinctive Design was great about making those happen. From the foundation to the framing, the roofers to the electricians, the drywallers to the siding installers, the garage door installers to the landscapers they knew what they were doing! It was impressive and my garage was finished within the promised time frame.

The salesman/design consultant, project manager, craftsmen and construction teams were friendly, professional and took pride in the work.
