Dauenhauer Plumbing

I use them all the time and have referred them. They're prompt. I can call the plumber I use on his cell phone and he always answers and always gets with me pretty quickly. Since I use them exclusively, they can almost always squeeze me in if I have an issue that needs to be looked at pretty quickly. He will come over and look at something and give me a quick estimate. Good service.

Called in the AM for service and had someone call back with a time of 3:00PM to 7:00PM for tech to arrive. Called back to approve time slot but talked to someone different who seemed somewhat disinterested. Nevertheless, said they would arrive between 3 & 7. Around 7:00 PM, I called to again confirm someone was still going to be here. Was told the time was 3:00 to 8:00 PM. which was not true but I made no issue since were still on the list. At 8:00 PM I again called and was told they could NOT even find me on any schedule and would not be here. NOT GOOD!

Perfect. The work was done & he showed my husband why it was leaking in the first place.

Chris came out to give us an estimate and said he would go back and do research on the toilet since it was older. We had to call him 3 times to see how it was going and never heard back. We called once and ask to speak to the supervisor to see if they could put someone else on the task but then they never called us back ether. So therefore we gave up and decided to go with someone who will contact you back.

I would totally recommend Dauenhauer Plumbing! He showed up on time, explained my options/choices, was very pleasant & friendly, and cleaned up after himself. Overall, a very good experience with this company; hopefully, I won't need a plumber again soon, but if I do, I will call Dauenhauer!!

So far, we had good luck with them.

Everything went well. He fixed the problem with the water heater not staying on. It had to do with the electronic start-up switch.

Chris Works, # 135, was very professional , well mannered , well spoken and answered all our queations and completed the job in a timely manner. he has been to our house before and did an excellent job then also. we hope he is the responder if we need to call Dauenhauer again in the furture. i highly recommend this co.!

The plumber who helped us out was very responsive. He arrived when he said he would and was very clear on costs and any risks associated with the quote. After we approved the work, he arrived when he said he would and he completed the work in a timely fashion. After he completed the work, he sent me an invoice (one that came in under the original quoted price) and I payed over the phone with a card. I would highly recommend Dauenhauer based on my experience with them.

I am extremely happy with the Mr. Joe Brashers from Dauehauer. It goes without saying that he gets the job done well. What puts him among the best is that he is patient to walk you through all the options and listen to your concern. Very professional: takes off shoes when entering my house; respond to my text messages immediately. I will have an upcoming bathroom remodeling and I sure hope he could do the plumbing work then.

Not pleased with the amount of time that was spent, as I said already everything was removed. The work seems to be decent just not pleased with the length o time spent and the periods of being out on the phone. Not exactly sure how I was charged., just lists item and a charge next to it. Would have liked a cost of materials breakdown and information on what it would cost before hand. Parts on line at Lowe's total less than $100.00, so I have to assume that $645.00 was labor? Very slow. I Changed my review because Dauenhauer plumbing really stepped up and showed their commitment to their customers. Ben was wonderful and made everything right. I was pleased with the speed of the resolution and the resolution itself. will give them another try

I called to ask about having a five minute phone call with a service representative, before I decided to formally request a service call. I wanted to get a professional opinion, if my hot-water heater was working normally, or if I needed to do routine maintenance... or if the service rep. suspected a problem... before I invited a service rep. to my home (and paid the standard service fee). The operator informed me the service reps would not talk to me over the phone like that... and that I had to have the rep. come out to my house and do a service call...in order to answer any questions. They would not talk to me over the phone or answer basic questions. This was disappointing... because I did just that with another company... That is, I called, and talked to a real human being... about my issues [in other words, I was calling Dauenhauer to get a second opinion... only to be told the company would do it]. I'm not sure I'd consider Dauenhauer in the future...

I was so pleased that Dauenhauer was able to provide same day service. There was a lot of water leaking from our washing machine and Mark quickly determined the cause (a washer for the washer). Since he was so quick, I mentioned my bathroom faucet leaking and he was able to quickly diagnose the cause and installed new cups and springs. Mark was very professional and fixed everything quickly and to my satisfaction. I would definitely call again!

Let me begin by saying that I am usually not the person that writes reviews, but I felt that the service was exceptional enough, that it warranted some feedback. Dauenhauer Plumbing was very professional with service that was performed and very responsive. I called on a Friday at approximately 11:00 a.m. and ask if they would have the ability to have someone at my house on the same day, due to the cabinets that were removed and repaired. I was given a 5 hour window, which I gladly accepted, given that I needed my kitchen completed. This was also a second call to a plumber, as the first plumbing company that I had visit, I felt was way overpriced and our insurance company asked that I get a second opinion. I received a call less than an hour after my original call to the company, from the technician asking if he could be there in about an hour, since he was in the area. Chris was very prompt in showing up and it took about 3 hours total to have everything installed back into our kitchen. The whole time, he was very friendly, professional and explained everything in detail, which was also very appreciated. I would definitely use these guys for any plumbing that I need in the future and will be happy to recommend them to everyone that needs any.

Joe Brashears was our technician. He was honest and a pleasure to work with. I've had bad experience with multiple plumbers in the past and thought he would recommend a lot of work. It was refreshing that Joe was honest and didn't recommend we replace our hot water heater. He also didn't recommend a lot of work. We recently moved into our home so were unsure of the extent of our problems. Joe was able to provide a couple of minor repairs and we used our $40 off Angie's List coupon, so the total cost was $49.00. We will definitely work with Joe Brashears again. We also scheduled our service in the morning, and he arrived at 2PM.

I felt as though the company was detailed, and I felt as though they really knew their stuff. Work wise, I felt very comfortable with them and felt as though they were very knowledgeable and detailed. I felt like they had a good handle on the scope of the job and a good plan of attack. They were the provider I would have prefered to use, but I felt at the end that just wasn't possible, as for too many parts of the project it would be up to me to find other contractors--when this wasn't the case with any other bids.

We called this Sunday morning after discovering our water heater had sprung a leak overnight. Dauenhauer was at our house within a couple of hours, quickly diagnosed the worn-out heater, and laid out options for replacing it (traditional tank vs. tankless) and the associated costs. When we chose to go with another 80 gallon heater it turned out there weren't any closer than Louisville, so he arranged with one of their Louisville staff to meet him halfway in Frankfort to pickup the fixture. All-in-all, the whole operation was accomplished as quickly, professionally, and with as little fuss as I have experienced in quite a while. Would definitely like to get this kind of service whenever I call someone out! Nice job, Dauenhauer.

We used this company two years ago for a leaky sink and had much success so decided to use them again. Mark, the technician, cabled the drain for us and removed a bunch of hair and flushed the drain with hot water - no more clog!! And he did it so quick!! Many thanks!!

I have used Dauenhauer several times for various plumbing projects and every time I have had a great experience with them. This time was no exception. My family has a rental property which the tenant complained of no hot water. I called Dauenhauer and they made arrangements to arrive in a few days. The plumber (Chris) called the tenant on the way to job and asked some questions to figure out what the problem might be over the phone. He then called me to give me his opinion in order to prepare for what the problem might be. Initially we expected the problem to have something to do with the hot water heater, however, it ended up being a leak (which we later found out to be in the slab). This took some time to figure out which Chris was very patient and knowledgeable about the entire process. The problem started on Thursday and he informed me that it might take a few days to detect where the leak was coming from. I expected to call me on Monday to discuss the next steps, but he actually called me on Sunday to inform me that he believed that the leak was located in the slab and that he would schedule a follow-on appointment for Monday. Once we determined that the leak was most likely in the slab, we had to call a second company to detect the leak and Chris took care of all of the scheduling and communication. After the leak was detected, Chris contacted me and arranged to arrive the very next day to take of the problem. It was fixed in 1 day and everything worked out perfectly. I can't express enough how amazed I was at the professionalism that Chris portrayed. He did an amazing job and went above and beyond any plumber I have ever dealt with before. I called him several times outside of normal work hours and he was always available to take my call and answer my questions.

He arrived in timely manner explained all my options to me, gave me free estimate on the job, and was very nice to work with. He didn't treat you like a stupid female like most companies do. It was a really pleasant experience. The price was to much for me to replace it right now, which I was somewhat expecting, so I had him go ahead and snake out the rusted pipe again. And kept the quote for when I am able to permanently fix it. He did a really good thorough job on the spot that was causing issues with snake.

The technician was extremely friendly and described each step of the process. He first attempted to repair the spigot but was unable to. Before moving forward with repairs, he detailed the cost to verify that I wanted to proceed. He replaced the spigot in a timely manner.
