Critter Control/Truly Nolen of Cincinnati & Ky

This company has changed ownership, practices, and prices since the last time I hired them. But they did take care of the animal in my wall, although for a much steeper price. I want to give an outstanding review to William and Nathan, who did the actual work. They listened to me, believed me, and didn't treat me like an idiot. They worked out a way to do things to meet my preferences. They did great work, and the problem is taken care of, the holes repaired. Even 12 inches of snow didn't stop them. The office people were good too, always helpful.

Megan of ARC Insect and Animal Control inspected the attic, etc. for possible point of entry. She fixed an opening along the gutter and set a trap on roof. She checked on it daily. They didn't return, so she put in a new roof vent. I was happy with her work. She seemed very knowledgeable and professional.

It went well. One squirrel removed from the basement, and the other removed from the roof.

The bat removal was great. Everything that followed was terrible. The office has no communication with the field. The technician that came back to do the home inspection left my attic open so that another bat got in the house. Absolutely refused to hire this company for the repairs after the huge hassle I went through. Completely incompetent billing department. save your self a headache, call someone else.

He might have been there, but he had left by the appointment. The technician was very honest with me, offered to still do services, but also offered to leave and not charge me for anything. I went ahead and had him check around and he was very thorough and professional.

We'd been dealing with birds creating nests in our cedar siding and had not had much luck with other companies, either in the quality of the work or the results. We were very pleased with the responsiveness, the professionalism and how quickly they took care of the problem. We paid for a complete inspection (which a lot of companies hadn't done) and analysis and were told what we needed and what we didn't. We received a detailed analysis and estimate for any work to be done and could choose what we wanted to have done. The work was done promptly and very well and we haven't had a problem since. Finally! If we ever have any critter or insect problem ever again I wouldn't hesitate to call them. Their prices were more than fair for the work done and very competitive. They showed up on time, too.

Great! The unwanted squirrels had taken up residence in my box gutters. The first day a pregnant female was removed ....then the rest of family quickly joined her. Great family owned business.

fine. they caught a juvenile norway rat & the problem is over. their guy seemed....a but unsure of himself and talked....a lot.....but he was thorough and checked around for other signs. yay, none. its a bit expensive, but then i dont have a rat eating my car anymore. they set traps & came peomptly when i said theyd caught the creature. only mixup was when i said we were done - i could tell there werent anymore & they came 8 hours later but that wasnt really a problem for me cuz i left the traps outside for them

I feel that they did not do a through job

The service was fine. We had raccoons so we ended up getting a new roof and soffits, and once those were put in place we could kind of see that it was working.

No animal caught. Other work satisfactory.

They did a great job with the removal and repaired the displaced siding on the house where they were gaining entry. The guy who did the work was considerate and very nice to work with. I would recommend them to anyone needing critter removal assistance.

The overall experience was a very expensive disappointment. John was pleasant and polite and took a lot of time "inspecting". He recommended that we needed to control the mice around our rural property and that would remove the food source for the black rat snakes. He said he would place 4 large bait stations outside our home and small bait stations in the garage and garage attic. However, he only had large bait stations on his truck. He placed the large bait stations and left assuring us that "someone from the office" would call to schedule a return with the small bait stations. We waited two weeks but no one called. So we called the office and asked about our small bait stations. With no apology for their lack of follow-up they scheduled the second appointment. John returned and for an additional $150.00+ we had small bait stations. The total for the original trip plus the second (which we had to arrange) was over $700.00. We could have had our own pest control company place those bait stations for significantly less. The poor organization, lack of follow-up, and exorbitant costs are the reasons we won't use Critter Control again. It remains to be seen if we will still have black rat snakes. If we do we most certainly won't contact Critter Control.

They just did an outside inspection, they didn't come in the house to see if I had any critters which is what I wanted them to do. They said they saw raccoon fur in the chimney. I think I'm going to call someone else come out and have a look upstairs for me in the future. They were here a month ago March 22, 2016.

Follow up visit was to bait for mice and fix the dryer vent with one that prevents critters from entering from the outside. Luke did an excellent job and was thorough during the inspection and follow up. They might be more expensive than others but I trust that they know what they're doing and will back up their work if the problem isn't resolved. At this point, we haven't heard anymore nocturnal noises from the addict areas.

Noise in the attic for some time. Called Critter Control to request assistance. Company scheduled appointment; Luke came on the appointment day. He called ahead to say he was on his way. Inspected attic, identified evidence of squirrel activity. Squirrels had chewed through the exterior above gutter making a hole into the attic space. Following through inspection, including photos, trap set to catch squirrels. First one caught within one hour of appointment. Called company, Luke was still in the area. He came back, took the squirrel away, and reset the trap. Next day second squirrel trapped. Luke came again to remove the squirrel. No further activity once the two squirrels were removed. Luke came back a week later to check, no squirrels. Returned a week later to remove trap and plug holes in roof where trap was attached. The people we talked to on the phone were great. Luke was wonderful to work with. He even took the time to tell us about the condition of our attic as we have blown in insulation and have not been in the attic since the house was built. NOTE: We did not have critter control seal the hole, rather decided to work with our roofer to prevent any further possible chewing through the wood by squirrels. However, we could have had Critter Control seal the single hole.

I have bad smell like skunk at home caused by wild animals. I asked them to do inspection and trap them. They checked the basement, crawl spaces, roofs and outdoor and could not locate them. So they set up the traps to catch them. Instead of catching skunk they caught two passing by possums. For inspection the cost is $150 with discount coupon and for each animal they caught, it costs $60 for possum. For skunk the cost is $80. It is very expensive and the main thing is they have not resolved my problem, since they don't know for sure how to catch them. I feel that they are the professionals who should have the expertise to do the job and it ends up like, if they caught something, you have to pay them more, if they don't catch anything and resolve your problem, they still charge you. There is no guarantee and consequences if they could not deliver. It has been like this for months. Such headache! Although all of the people I have contact are pretty nice, but I feel that none of the people have the knowledge and expertise to catch wild animals.

Very responsive to initial call requesting help with noises in the attic; team member scheduled for inspection within 2 days. Team member arrived on-time and was very thorough in checking for entry points and signs of animal presence in attic area. A squirrel trap was set near possible entry point, but no critter captured. 1 week later - the hole was sealed and the bait stations were installed in the attic. Approx 2 days after station install, there was an increase in the noises heard from the attic and then quiet. There was a strong odor near the location of sound about 2 weeks later - the smell lasted about 7 days. Several months later - there was a smell at another corner of the house that lasted for about 2 weeks. After about 5 months - no additional noises have been heard and the smell has gone. Overall - a high quality experience with a good outcome in the end. I wish they had warned me to expect the smell.

That service went well. They did mole removal and it took them a couple of visits. First they set traps and then the next was to check on them. They were great.

It went well. The technician came out twice to bait tunnels where moles were taking over my front and back yard sometime in either September or October. He was very nice an professional and there is a noticeable reduction in mole activity.
