Counter Culture Plus is Lexington's most personal surface contractor. We have every award in Central Kentucky, including multiple Super Service Awards here, as well as the highest rating on Google, Houzz, Facebook and seemingly everywhere in our area for consistently and comprehensively delivering a superior experience. In 2018, after over a decade of service to the company, GJ Gerard purchased Counter Culture and his wife Jena, joined the already amazing team, including the legendary Leslie Marcum. Since then, the already impressive name of Counter Culture has slowly and steadily become the brand to revere. We have a very hard system to compete with when excellence is expected. To start, you have to have the ability to do great work. Most of our competition is focused on one thing: VOLUME. And that's not how you perform at your highest level, nor how you thank a customer for their business. We have an inherent dedication to your happiness here that fuels our decisions, our focus, and our commitment to our responsibility to excel for you. So many of the big and little things are obsessed over by Leslie, Cory, and GJ that its very unlikely that you don't walk away feeling entirely cared for and special, because you are. This is all not to say that we are perfect, because that's not true. But perfect is all we ever shoot for. That is absolutely true. We look forward to the opportunity to show you what a decade of doing right feels like. GJ here! As this is easily the worst grade I have, first I would like to say the customer, whom I didn't really spend time with until the VERY end, is a very down to earth, reasonable, and kind hearted person. I am very sorry I didn't get to personally assist her so that these grades could have been avoided, but I am sure we legitimately deserve this grade. She worked with another salesperson who is certainly caring, but dropped the ball on follow up. She waited a long time (weeks) for us to come back to fix a couple small issues, too long, I'll be it none of them keeping her from using her kitchen. Finally when I learned that she had been waiting, I personally went to her house to fix these issues myself, and I did. I'm actually glad I got the opportunity to come over there and see the job and spend some time with you. You are very patient and sweet and I truly appreciate your doing business with us, and I apologize you didn't get the famous Counter Culture Plus VIP treatment. Your job is as important to us as any. I know we got everything taken care of for you and that you are happy, and that makes me happy. So nice to have met you. Merry Christmas!

Smooth and easy
Description of Work: They were very friendly and helpful. Did it all in one day. Gorgeous granite was better than I expected. Very easy to work with and very responsive to phone calls and questions.
