Description of Work: They provided a quote to replace our furnace. We went with a different provider although Comfort was the most upfront and honest with us. We will consider them for work in the future.

Description of Work: One of our furnances stopped funcitoning on a Saturday afternoon. The first place I called refused to come even though they adversived weekend service. Comfort found a technician who was very busy but came that evening. He was very professional and identified the problem and checked the rest of the furnace. I was so impressed, I signed on for their maintanence program. That is why the cost was a large as it was.

Description of Work: I had a new gas furnace installed. Prompt, professional service! The owner came out and gave me an estimate which is rare. Thanks for treating me like I matter!

Description of Work: I was impressed by the professionalism, thoroughness and friendly demeanor of the entire Comfort team, starting with owner Mike Buckley to Kim Taylor in the office to the two-man team that completed the new furnace/AC installation. All took the time to fully explain the job and answered all of my questions. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Description of Work: They replaced a 25 year old A/C unit. We chose the company from a short list of providers from Kentucky Performance loan option. |I was impressed that the owner came out and took lots of photos and measurements to quote us the best system. After we compared all quotes we had more questions and the owner came out again to spend time going over the whys of the original quote and why the specs differed from other contractors. We then discussed options based on these differences and selected another system. I was happy with the punctuality, work done and discussions and recommendations regarding some changes in how the work was ultimately done compared to initial estimates. The owner also asked us to do our homework in selecting a contractor and went over the pros and cons of various reviews and consumer report sites.

Description of Work: Install new air handler in attic and air conditioner unit outside

Description of Work: Air was not working. They came out quickly and fixed it same trip. Seemed overly expensive for labor and service call charges.

Description of Work: Removed two existing 21-year-old geothermal units and replaced with two new Climate Master geothermal units/air handlers. Used existing wells/loops. Flushed system, sealed ducts, fixed existing drains for correct flow. Removal of old systems and installation of the two new ones went flawlessly, but an existing drain pipe hidden between floor joists was angled incorrectly, causing the new upstairs unit to shut down repeatedly with a "condensate overflow" error message. Since the old system had never pulled enough moisture out of the air for condensation to be an issue, the incorrectly angled pipe had gone unnoticed. Tracing the problem took many visits, but Comfort stayed on the case until the problem was found and eliminated. The technicians, especially Mark, and the owner, Mike, kept in close touch with us throughout the process and showed genuine concern for our family's well-being. We were fortunate in that the weather was mild during the time that the upstairs unit kept shutting down. At this writing the owner is still emailing me periodically to make sure all is well. The only reason I gave Comfort a B on price is that one other company was slightly less expensive. We went with Comfort anyway because of their reputation for having the most experienced technicians. I think we made a wise decision.

Description of Work: They came in a month ago to service my heating and air condition units in my attic and basement. Very nice and professional. They suggested I get an estimate on my basement unit because the technition felt I may need a new unit. This past Friday, I had one of their sales people, Nathan come by to give me a estimate. He looked at the unit and told me I didn't need a new unit and he suggested to call them in a year to get another look at my system. Very honest and up front with me.

Description of Work: Our air conditioner stopped working Saturday evening.I signed up on Angie's List this morning and found Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning almost at the top of the list. I called them at 8 a.m.They told me that there were a couple of customers in front of me but promised that they would be here today. It is 2 p.m. and my air conditioner is fixed. The technician was very professional and easily able to find and fix the problem. I will definitely use this company in the future.
