They told me to come on by. I did, and they took a look immediately. I am embarrassed to admit the problem was me. I have been working the latch incorrectly. They showed how to work the last (easy now that I get it), and gave me advice on keeping the top in good shape. They did not charge me a penny, and were so kind, and so knowledgeable. I am so grateful. I love convertibles and i will go straight to them when I need a top replacement. They are the best.
Description of Work: I own a Miata convertible, and the top has been difficult to latch for years. I called and asked them if they could adjust it or fix it so it would be easier to handle. (They did NOT install this top by the way).

 + -1 moreMy experience with them went very well. He gave a couple of different options. One was for aftermarket leather for $600. Another quote was for a factory material for about $1200.
Description of Work: CoachCraft gave me a quote for doing some leather work on the car seat.

 + -1 moreI contacted them concerning an appointment, left the vehicle and picked it up a couple of days later when the top was installed. Since it was winter, the top did not stretch out. My daughter took the car out one of the first warm days and could not get the top back up (because it was so tight). I called and scheduled a reassurance visit with Pete. The kept the car day or so and recommended that the vehicle be left outside so that the top would season.

 + 0 moreThey are very friendly. They have a nice environment. They appear to be knowledgeable. The way I understand from talking to one of the owners is that they have one person that specializes in convertible tops. They stay on top of things. One of my contacts that work at a dealership gave me a retail price on convertible tops and then I went to CoachCraft and got a quote from them. They were less than both retail prices, which pleased me tremendously. I also know somebody that does upholstery and I might check with him and then okay CoachCraft to do it. Their quote was roughly $1520 and the retail quote was $1820, so either one is not cheap but they are less than retail. The quote price included labor, time, equipment, and everything. The car is eleven years old and I don't want to spend $2000 for a top. CoachCraft are pretty much topnotch but I haven't made a decision because is that much money. They were on target and if I had a question, they answered it. They are fairly competitive in what they are doing. They don't charge as much as the dealership charges for that kind of work.
