Clean Sweep Cleaning Services

I was looking for a reasonably priced carpet / upholstery cleaning service in the local area. The person in the phone was polite and estimated that cleaning the carpet in 2 bedrooms and the living room furniture (couch, love seat, and recliner) as $250.00 so I scheduled an appointment. The tech arrived on time. It is possible that the tech is the same as the owner. I am not sure if it was the owner of the company cleaning my carpet and furniture. The company sent only one male to do the cleaning and he was in and out of my home within one hour. In my opinion, that was too fast to clean 2 rooms and large sized lazy boy furniture. The method the company uses to clean carpet and upholstery is hot water extraction. My carpets and furniture were left wet and it took several hours to dry. Basically the technician only sprayed water and did not work h****** the suction of the water from the carpets and furniture. He did not focus on the mild stains in the carpet or on the couch and several were still there when the carpet / couch dried. I had to ask the technician to clean the carpet inside the closet in the bedrooms and his response was "oh you want me to get in there". I was extremely unhappy with the overall quality of the job. The tech did not ask about my satisfaction with the job and the company did not contact me after the job was completed to inquire about my experience. The tech sprayed some deodorizer on the carpet and floor and told me that it was a deodorizer and a stain protectant. It is not a stain protecting because lemonade has stained my couch even after I cleaned it. I never plan on using Clean Sweep Carpet Cleaning again. I have learned that saving money is not the most important factor when the services you get are not quality. I now rely on Angie's list to locate reliable services in my community.
