They did a fantastic job. I don't think the price was bad for the work they did. Their quality was definitely an A. They actually got done before they said they would. They are very home town group but they are professional. It's a very small business and are old school. I don't think they know what a computer is or anything. But they did great work. They completely took off what was on there and made a whole new set. The went down to the springs. I have a Dixon Reed sofa and the cushions were something my grandma would have on her furniture. They redid those and they turned out fantastic.

CJs did a great job reupholstering a slipper chair for me. Even made some design suggestions that modernized the reupholstered piece. Looks great; quality of work is outstanding, and quick turnaround time. Very satisfied.

They do their upholstery in their home. They did a fine job with two chairs I brought them. Only, they flip-flop the fabric. They put the fabric on opposite chairs that I had adjusted. The fabric I have chosen for the small chair was put on the larger chair. It turned out okay. In fact, I kind of liked the switch but not totally. It was not bad enough that I was going take it back and have them do it again. It was very inexpensive. For the two chairs, it was under $300. As far as I am concerned, it was a good deal. I had upholstery done before that has been more expensive. It may not have been top-notch, but it was pretty good. They did it very quickly. I would consider using them again. I would just be specific with what I wanted. We had to carry the chair down a little driveway and into their basement. The environment was okay, but it did not bother me that much as long as the work is good. I might locate another place, but I am not looking anything re-covered any time soon.

I had my sectional reupholstered a couple years ago by another local business, but a few of my cushions weren't done right and the fabric was starting to rip at the seams. Fortunately I still had some leftover fabric. I stopped by CJ's and showed them the issue and they gave me a quote, then I came back a few days later to drop off the cushions. It took CJ's a few days to get them done because they had some other projects ahead of mine, but I was satisfied with the turnaround time. They fixed the cushions and the style is an exact match to the other cushions. I was also able to use my Angie's List coupon. The staff were very nice, and CJ's accepts debit/credit cards (unlike the other company I used where I had to write a check). I'm very pleased with the results and would recommend CJ's Upholstery!

Service was friendly and punctual. Quality of the jobs was excellent.

We called and verified the location and when we could bring the chair for an estimate/leave for the work. We located the shop at the back of a home in a residential area. We provided the materials and asked for piping to be done in an accent color which complemented the denim blue of the chair. The estimate was for a price and time of completion. The work was done sooner than expected! This was a plus for us because we needed to transport the chair to another location. The chair looks like it was made that way!

Service was great and they were very professional. The quality of work was top notch. I love the new look of my chairs. I am definitely planning to use again.

When my mother passed away, we inherited my dad's 60-year-old rocking chair. It was in terrible shape - the frame was broken down and pieces were broken apart throughout the chair. It was falling apart and unusable. C J's repaired the wooden frame, put in new padding, and reupholstered it. Now it looks like new and is very comfortable to sit in. They completed the job in just over a week and their price was reasonable, especially considering the amount of work required to repair the frame. They even made an extra pillow that we had not asked for with some of the left-over fabric. I highly recommend C J's!

We chose CJS Upholstery after reading Angie's List reviews. We founds the owners, Jeff and Marilyn, to be personable, pleasant and enjoyed working with them on these 2 projects. The work was completed in about 2 weeks time. Having had no experience in having upholstery work done before, we had no idea what to expect in terms of cost but expected the cost to be at least double the $650.00. The quality of work is excellent. We are very proud of our 2 rockers and club chair. We have to rate CJS Upholstery 'A' in all categories.

People were very friendly, provided a very good price, picked up at scheduled time and called to arrange a delivery time. The quality of work was excellent and were very easy to work with. You can develop a trust with CJs knowing that they will do an excellent job for a reasonable price. Since we were in no hurry they gave us a two to three week window on the job and delivered in two and 1/2 weeks. It is great to find someone you can trust and not pressure you for upgrades. We are already planning our next project with them

CJ's recovered two very distressed chairs for me. The fabric I chose was a somewhat large complicated pattern, which I'm certain was more difficult to work with. They did an INCREDIBLE job, the fabric design matches up perfectly, cushions all new and comfy, and the chairs look brand new! Also, they are SO nice to work with, very professional, responsive, and they CARE about their work. I can't recommend them highly enough, and can't wait to use them again!

Beyond our expectations! We have used the services of CJ Upholstery for years because of their OUTSTANDING and EXEMPLARY services and the very high skill level of the owners--who have years of upholstery experience--with different fabrics. They have covered antique sofas, new chairs, pillows, cornice boards (with much detail), and various other items. Marilyn and Carmelitta are deserving of an A+ for their command performance. Again, an A+! We would NEVER consider trying to find another upholstery vendor, and we live in the Cincinnati area. We have also brought items--to be upholstered--to CJ Upholstery, when we lived in Gallatin, TN. Need I go on...
