+ -1 moreThis was a fairly large job and we we're very clear was to what we expected when he came out for the quote. At one point, we even told him that he didn't even have to stain under the deck because we decided that at some point we would but a roof on it just to get the job done. He stopped showing up and wouldn't even return calls. We ended up finishing the job ourselves. This was a very frusterating experience.
Description of Work: Chris gave us an estimate for staining our deck and fence. He power washed it all but did not scrap any of the remaining stain. He began straining the deck and finished one coat. The deck began to peel again. After countless call he finally called back and came and touched up the peeling spots. He stopped showing up and wouldn't return calls. We ended up staining our own fence and rescraping the deck and staining again ourselves. We paid him for half of the job to purchase his materials. He completed about 1/3 of the job that he was hired to do.

+ 0 moreHe did a really good job. He does interior and exterior painting. I spent around $1000 for everything. He's easy to work with. He'll come back if I call him for touch up service or anything like that. For what he does, it's very economical. He was here on time. My wife is a home health nurse and she asked a lot of her patients and people that had work done and he was recommended to her through some of those people.
Description of Work: I used Chris Horning for painting. He actually did quite a lot. He did the stairway of a 3-storey house and the stairway is pretty high. He also painted my living room, 3 large fences and the entire deck, below and above and a couple of small fences.
