Description of Work: Started out good pre installation inspection. Installation good. Really bad leaks during rain storm. Response poor. Said it would be one week or more to correct. Installer came and said he could not fix because it would take two men to fix. Would be some time next week. I displayed my displeasure since I had plastic to catch the water into pans on my wood floor. He left and later called and said he located another installer and they would come and fix the problem. Window had to be taken out and drain holes put in that should have been put in at the factory.

Description of Work: They were going to remove an old screened in sunroom and put in a new patio enclosure. The estimate was much higher than we were looking for. They were professional and the products were top of the line. We are going to be in the house just a few more years so we did not want to go with the top of the line products. We are not going to use them for this job but we definitely would for future work if we planned to be in a home long term. The sales associate that we worked with was great as well.

Salesman came to the house and measured pertinent items. Technicians arrived on time for each job. All items were installed quickly. The workmanship was excellent. The warranty work on screens was outstanding.
Description of Work: I have hired them multiple times between 2006-2011. They screened in my front porch, replaced storm door, replaced front picture window, and replaced master bedroom double hung window.

The quality of the windows is fantastic, but the customer service is atrocious. While installing the windows, the installers badly dented up the wood frame of the windows.

The quality of the windows is the reason I would use them again. Their customer service is so bad that it's really hard to believe. Zero professionalism, not punctual, etc. If you name a bad attribute of customer service, they got it. Even the manager was off-the-charts rude and unprofessional. However, the guy that installed the windows was very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for high quality windows and don't care to deal with a company that is absolutely clueless, then I would choose Champion Windows of Lexington.

They were very professional. Champion was helpful and knowledgeable with any questions that I had.
Description of Work: I had Champion Windows install 10 double-pane, vinyl windows at my home. This included a limited lifetime warranty that protects the screens and against any broken glass. The warranty covers the supplies and the labor used to fix them.

Champions estimate was more than double what other contractors quoted for better products. But of course, they started "discounting" the price. I was sceptical about their windows to begin with--they don't make a triple pane window and the pocket sill design tends to collect dirt and insects can get in through the weep holes that must be there to drain rain water from the sill--but the pricing and sales tactics made the decision to look elsewhere that much easier.
