+ -1 moreI am disappointed with the poor quality of the flowers and the florist's lack of attention to detail. We have ordered flowers from Best of Flowers several times in the past, but I will hesitant to do so in the future. I had not seen the condition of other orders. I called the florist to offer my disappointment, and the manager said we should have called 24 hours within the delivery date for a replacement. This policy was never explained before. The manager also said that hospital room was probably too warm. Well it was not! For $64, the quality should be better. I wonder if they thought no one would notice or comment.
Description of Work: We had a bouquet of flowers sent to a friend at the Markey Cancer at the University of Kentucky last Tuesday 2/7/2012. The scant number of flowers wilted and turned brown and lost petals after two days. The water in the vase was full and clear. The hospital room was not too hot; in fact, it was a little chilly. I think the flowers were at their peak or past when they were delivered. They also made a mistake with our name. We are Joe and Mary Van Sickels, not Phil and Mary Van Sickels. I saw the condition of the flowers on 2/9/2012 while visiting my friend and was embarrassed and disappointed with the poor condition of the roses, iris, and some small white flower that had shriveled to the point that it was unrecognizable!
