Description of Work: Cleaned my chimney and applied a sealer to the top. I can't really judge the quality of work as I can't see in the chimney. They were prompt and very clean. They were somewhat more expensive, but seemed professional.

Description of Work: Barnhill Chimney responded to my email almost immediately and had a representative out the very next day. Lucas filled in and resurfaced cracks in the crown and filled in cracks in the mortar along the wall near the chimney. Lucas was extremely professional and was very thorough in explaining what was needed, what he could do to fix the problems and how much it would cost. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Description of Work: Pointed and capped Chimneys with Custom Copper Caps. Rebuilt chimneys where needed.

Description of Work: Examined 2 chimneys with camera. Told me what the problem could be and how to correct. Then I received an extensive and well prepared report by email. The email report then goes into my problem and explains that or at least infers that my problem is more extensive. I would liked to have had a better explanation while they were here. I really would have liked to had a better explanation while they were here at my house. Now I am not sure if I repair the damage using the first explanation, if I will be safe. Maybe I should have asked a lot more questions, but at the time I thought everything was clear. Overall, they were clean and well prepared for the examination of chimneys. Price was ok.

Description of Work: Checked leak in fireplace plus gas log remote which was not working. They did not find evidence of a leak but did email a detailed report with pictures. Found remote was not working as a switch was turned off. No charge for any of the services. Very professional and would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Barnhill fabricated a new chase cover for our chimney. The only complaints we had were 1. The gentleman answering the phone was polite, but had no idea how to answer questions about what we needed. 2. It took a week to get a quote, being that we needed this for our chimney and when it rains it's stressful, a week is too long just to get a quote. 3. Every time we showed up at the business, the doors were locked, even an hour or two after the posted opening time. I

Description of Work: We had freeze/thaw damage to our chimney. We contracted with Barnhill to do the repair work and replace the chimney cap as well. The employees were on time, worked quietly (we hardly knew they were here), cleaned up their work area daily and completed the work quite quickly. Our chimney looks great and we couldn't be more pleased.
