Incredible, professional, knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

First we had a rough start due to unpredictable summer rains. Nothing to do with Ann or her ability, but through the weather delays she stayed in touch and kept me up to date with anticipated start dates. I appreciated the professionalism. As for my patio, I love it. It looks fantastic. The work was done fast and beautifully. I have had another mason on my property comment positively on the quality of the work done. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted done, but Ann brought a designer's eye and ideas and suggested some changes and finishing touches that made all the difference. So grateful I chose Ann and her company for this project.

Ann Bowe is a fantastic contractor! I wanted a patio constructed that would match the feel of our 1940s brick house. I had in mind Pennsylvania bluestone with a brick border. Ann spent a lot of time with me discussing plans and materials, and helped me know what was possible within my budget. She went out of her way to find great materials at a low cost. She then brought in a team of masons to build it. They were quick, friendly, and did beautiful work. The patio is stunning. It is exactly what I hoped for and it is a perfect complement to the house. One way to judge a contractor is by how she handles mistakes--even ones that are not hers. About half-way into the project, I saw that the mortar did not match the mortar on the house. I let Ann know, and she immediately came over to check it out. She agreed that it didn't match--the masonry company (not the masons) had sent the wrong mortar. It was their mistake, but they wouldn't pay for it. But Ann made it clear that it was not my problem and she had the masons tear down the retaining wall and start over with the correct mortar. She had to eat the cost of the labor. Yet never once did she even suggest that I should settle for the wrong color. In this and in all ways, I felt that Ann was among the most professional contractors I have worked with--and I have worked with many. Before the patio, we never spent time in the back yard. Now we enjoy sitting out there all the time. I highly recommend Ann Bowe for anything you want to do in your yard!

She is very good and really easy to work with. She worked within my budget and knew what I was looking for. She was able to work with things that I wanted. In general, it was just a very positive experience.
