Excellent. Arrived when they said they would, understood our needs and budget. Gene was very knowledgeable and professional.

It went very well.

The tech was great. Cleaned the AC unit, added freon to the appropriate level and ensured all vents were blowing well. Same day service!!

Great. Josh was smart in telling me it might be a good idea to start saving in case I need to replace my 21 year old system(s). He also reminded me that he will always try to fix it first before replacement is recommended.

The service went very well. The weather was very hot and I'm sure they were very busy but they got to us much more quickly than I anticipated (< 24 hours). Service folks were polite and did a great job.

I called on Sunday because their ad indicated they provided service 24/7. I was told they have no one available to work today. They did not offer to set an appointment for later in the week.

Called for the service expecting to just need a recharge but we found when he got there that the outside unit was not turning on at all. Jason was very good at tracking down the problem even in our messy garage he got to our inside unit and did a great job inspecting the unit. He tracked the issue down to a capacitor in the outside unit. He replaced the capacitor for $79.00 for the part and 1 hour total labor at $80.00 per hour. He then recharged the system which took 9 lbs of Freon which as a surprise. Our unit is very large and hadn't be charged for a while. Just to be safe I looked up our unit and it takes 9 lbs in the unit itself and up to 2 more lbs in the lines and coil. So I feel Jason and Advantage Air did an excellent job for us and we will use them again if needed.

I'm so glad to find an honest repairman! I've heard so many stories about air-conditioning repairmen replacing units they could be fixed. The same thing happened to us. Thank God there are honest people out there still!

When the elderly couple that rent my house called and said the AC was out, I asked the maintenance man to check it out. Maintenance called back and said the unit needed a motor and he could replace it. A call the next day from maintenance said the compressor was now out that the whole unit would have to be replaced and he had someone that could do it for $5400.00. I told him I would have to check around. I then got on Angie's List and started my search. I chose the business with what I considered the best all around rating. I sent a message through Angie's List and immediately got a response from Kim saying that they would work me in the same day. Within 2 hours, at 1:15 I got a call from Gene Thompson saying he would be at the address in about 30 minutes. My husband and I ate lunch then decided to drive to the house. Gene was just finishing up and the unit was back on. I was elated. No new unit needed! Then when he showed me the bill, I wanted to hug him. Thank you Gene Thompson and Advantage Air!! I have several houses in Georgetown and I will be loyal to you.

I had a hard time with this review because they are excellent at times with really great pricing but not too responsive at other times. First contact was 7/29/14 when A/C stopped working. "Gene" came out a couple hours later than scheduled but only because he wasn't apprised of the appt. time. Not his fault. He found we needed 3#s of refrigerant & took care of that plus signed us up for an annual maintenance plan for a total of $269 which is amazing. But he said he'd be back in 2 weeks to run a leak test, which never happened. Also when called a couple times in the fall for checkup (the company, not Gene) never got a call-back. So you would think what kind of service is that?! But, in January the heat pump failed & heat output was falling below 55, called Advantage Air & they immediately sent someone out. Both inside and outside units had to be replaced on a 10-yr-old Tappan 2-1/2-ton system. "Ron" gave me a price installed @ $4,575 complete for a bigger, better system (no hidden fees or anything else). I called 4 other companies in Lexington for comparison pricing & nobody could touch them. So Advantage had "Josh" (I think) do the install ASAP & really all was great except for the part where insulation was scattered all over the clothes in the closet. A warning of "better cover this stuff" or anything like that would've been greatly appreciated but didn't happen. So, honestly, I think we'll continue to use them because they know their stuff, pricing is great, & just have to work on answering the phone & getting back to you when they say they will. I would also recommend them because they are honest & seem very accommodating to give you the best price they can and still make money.

They carefully checked over the heat pump and gave us advice on changing the filter and trimming bushes around the exterior unit. They also came back just as the heat really set in and checked the unit again before we really started to use the air conditioning. That we really liked. Now that we are on their service plan I expect they will come regularly to look over the system. They are a pretty small outfit so organization and call back do not seem to be their strength. The work they do is top notch.

The AC is now working perfectly. I will use this company for my annual services and any future HVAC needs.

The quality of the service was very good. I've used them 3 or 4 times.

Provider was prompt and very professional. Was upfront about what the costs of the repair would be and worked with me to reduce the cost where possible (i.e. using a generic fan rather than the manufacturer's specialty fan). Work was completed in a timely manner.

When I called, they came right out and they laid out my options, they had no high pressure sales tactics. They told me what my options were, the price in my opininon was very good. They were prompt, professional, and thorough. My experience tells me that this company really cares for their customers, they take their customer care very seriously.

I was extremely satisfied with them! The guy that came out was a seasoned repair man, another company recommended them to me. I was very pleased with them and their service! The owner of the company usually answers the phone and he assured me that anytime day or night and holidays I would get an answer from them and I feel comfortable about that!

Came on Saturday, checked every possible option, ordered part on Monday and connected it on Tuesday. No fuss, no additional costs for driving here on Saturday to find out what the problem is. One price for service call and one for labor. I felt that it was a honest company, especially after three other companies came and wanted to charge us for things that were in no need of repair.

Everything went well. The people who came were friendly and efficient. I was happy with the soundness of the advice they gave me, the low price they charged and the quality of the work they performed. They cleaned up fairly well before leaving. I really felt they listened to my specific concerns and addressed them. In short, it was a great experience.
