A Professional Tree Service

We called A Professional Tree Service for an estimate, and Ken was out within a day to provide a reasonably priced estimate. (We had called another tree service for an estimate, so this was our second bid.) After we accepted the bid, we would have liked a more prompt call back to set up a time for the work. We had to call twice to get a scheduled date. Once the date was scheduled, however, the work was done to our satisfaction. Two workers came out: one to prune and one to load the dead wood into a chipper. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and would recommend this company to anyone. Our pin oaks look great: pruned, dead wood removed, and an 8 foot clearance so that my husband can easily mow under the trees.

Very responsive, same day estimate. Work was done exactly when and how promised. Professional and knowledgeable. This is my new tree service in my new neighborhood, they have a lifelong fan in me!

The gentlemen arrived exactly on time and when they came, walked around again with me to review how I wanted the trees pruned, etc. Work was done in less time than expected; all debris was cleaned up and carried away. Extremely pleased with this company and the professionalism they displayed. My husband came home and was very impressed with how much better the yard looked. We received a quote from another group and the estimate was twice what we payed. Also, the other company was not going to be able to do the work until a month after they gave us the quote. A Professional Tree Service is exactly what the name says. I would highly recommend this company!!!

I was very happy with the whole process. Ken came out and gave an estimate that I found acceptable so I scheduled a date. He stated that it may have to wait a couple days til their Arborist came back to town. This made me feel even more confident since they were bringing an Arborist to the job. Some neighbors chose to use other individuals/companies who really butchered their trees. Sad. I did not want that to happen to my trees!! On the day the work was to be done, the crew showed up right on time and went to work. They worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up completely, and then asked me to do a walk thru to see if things looked good. I pointed out a few more branches I wanted removed and they took care of it. I was very very pleased and will use them again. Highly recommend!

The trees were in between two houses in close proximity. The removal went fine. No lines were cut. Stump removal came about a week later to grind/remove the stump!

Very professional. Did the work as promised at reasonable rates and cleaned up so you did not even know they were there. We will call upon them in the Spring for more trimming. Highly recommended professionals.

My overall experience with them was good. Upon completion of work, they were very good. I had no problems with them. They also trimmed down small bush trees and shaped them to make them look better because there was a lot of dead stuff in them. I would definitely recommend them to other members. My only complaint with them was that they could have probably come and be quicker about it, as it did take a while for them to get there. Their pricing is probably competitive with everybody else. Their knowledge is extremely good. They are really professional. Their quality of work was excellent.

Took another call to get them out there, but overall, they did a very good job!!! Trees were trimmed and shaped. All debris was cleared and hauled off. Will definitely use again next year!

Each time we have called, they responded quickly to the inquiry, looked at the work to be done, offered a detail quote, arrived when they said they would, did the work and cleaned up. Very satisfied.

Everything was perfect. They were very prompt and the job was completed as discussed. The guys were very professional and easy to work with. I don't have any complaints at all. I called them; they were over here in less than an hour and gave me a proposal. They showed exactly when they said they were going to do the job.

A Professional Tree Service removed a tree at our rental property. When I inquired about stump removal at my home, they suggested that I have them come out during the winter, when they were not so busy, and they would not charge me a set up fee. In January they called saying they were available. The stump grinder is situated on a trailer, so it cannot be maneuvered into small spaces. However, the young man was very professional and was able to get out all of the stumps that needed to be removed. They also have a smaller portable grinder for tight spaces, so he brought that back later in the day for one stump between my sidewalk and house. We probably had 10 stumps of various sizes removed. I have no complaints with the quality of work.

I am very pleased with their work. They cleaned up their work very well. Very pleasant to deal with.

I asked for an estimate, got it, and a relative time frame for completion. Was given a 2 week window which was met. The 4 persons that showed up asked for specifics on what I wanted trimmed and they did what I asked. Shredded the waste material and hauled it away.

I used them before, so they were the first one I called. They were here the next morning and got the job done.

Did amazingly little damage to surrounding area.

I've used A Professional Tree Service twice. The first time (2010), they removed two dead Maple trees from my yard and did general trimming and maintenance work on a giant oak tree. I was very pleased with their work and called them back again the following year when a really bad evening storm took out a giant branch from that same oak tree. The branch fell across my neighbor's driveway and blocked his car in, so we needed to get it removed fast. I called APT that same night (~10 PM), figuring there'd be other people calling in the morning. I was hoping to be first in line on the answering machine, but Ken actually answered the phone and scheduled the job on the spot. He had a crew at my house first thing in the morning and the guys worked solidly for several hours clearing my neighbor's yard and then hauled off all the debris. Ken stopped by as well and gave me advice about how to help the tree recover from the damage and stay healthy. Overall, I was very happy with their speediness and professionalism and will definitely be calling them again!

Not only were they here the next day I placed a call, but Ken even came out here the day before to give an estimate. Don't let their montley crew fool you, they were here quick and got the job done the way I wanted it don. They were the only company that I called that could come out that day, place a bid, and get it done the next day. I called several other tree services and I was going to be put on a wait list for 3+ weeks then they would call to get me in that week. Kind of like cable, and I hated that! They were fast and did all the work I asked for and then some. The property looks cleaned up and the trees look great! I would use them again in a heartbeat.

AWESOME JOB. The tree trunk was actually growing in the middle of the easement between my house and my backyard neighbor. I wanted the tree trimmed straight up on my side. All branches needed to fall into my yard and not into my neighbor's. Additionally, the tree was growing right against my neighbor's fence which did not leave much room on the ground. The worker with the chain saw started at the bottom and worked his way up to the top. The helper dragged most of the limbs around to the front and fed them into a big shredder. The chain saw worker had put on a set of tree climbing spikes and also very carefully tied himself off. Both workers were very safety conscious. The tree was approximately 80 feet high and the worker had to get that high to cut some of the last few branches. The worker trimmed the tree exactly the way I wanted it and now the opened up tree lets in MUCH more light. Thw workers cleaned up all the leaves, branches, and apples. They did a really fine job. This is the second time I have used this company for major trimming work and will not hesitate to use them again.
