I called and they gave me an estimate the next day which was reasonable. They told me they would be there at a specific time the next week, and they were very punctual.

Ken came over and gave me an extremely fair price. I was also in a very time sensitive situation (a large tree resting on my neighbors fence). Ken came over the same day and the tree was removed the next day. He was a great guy and also provided a quote for clearing brush from the back of my house. He came on Saturday and only took a few hours.

After we contacted the company, Ken came to our property quickly and gave us a detailed estimate of the work to be done. We liked the price and gave our approval for the work to begin. They started the job within a week and finished before we had to leave town the next week. The grounds were cleaned up completely and the logs were cut perfectly to fit our small woodstove. We will use them again.

Great bunch of people. Did the job very well . I was impressed with their knowledge and skill. There was no mess left to clean up. They even raked the yard of all small limbs and debris. I would recommend their services to anyone needing it.

The consultation was helpful in understanding how the work could be done. The tree is recovering nicely and probably alive because it was trimmed.

They couldn't come the scheduled day because of emergency repairs needed in another area due to an overnight wind storm. They followed up very quickly and did a nice job of tree removal and stump grind.

First of all I used this company again because they did a good job last year. I contracted with A PROFESSIONAL TREE SERVICE to do the job. After about three weeks I had not heard anything from them so I called and ask when they were going to do the trimming. They said the would get back with me. Later the same day I was called back and was told they would be out on October 2. I called on October 2 at 10am and asked what time they would be there and I was given the number of the person that would be doing the trimming and I called and was told it would be between 1 and 2. Trimmer didn't show up till after 4. After a couple of hours I was told that they would have to come back the next day to finish. I was then informed that A PROFFESIONAL TREE SERVICE had given the contract to them and I was to pay them not A PROFESSIONAL TREE SERVICE. I was never notified that a sub contractor would be doing the work. Not only a sub contractor but another tree company. I felt since they were in the middle of the project I had no choice but to let them continue. I didn't want to leave my shrubs and trees half trimmed. The biggest shock was when I was told the amount that I owed. The amount was almost double what I paid last year. I contracted with A PROFESSIONAL TREE SERVICE NOT A SECOND HAND COMPANY. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY BECAUSE WHO KNOWS WHO WILL SHOW UP. I picked this company because of the reviews on Angie's list.

The tree is gone with no hassle. Nice people. I can't vouch for the price, because I couldn't get anyone else to call me back about cutting it down, so I paid what they asked without knowing the average cost for such a service. But he seemed like a honest, fair guy. I doubt he over charged. It took over a month for them to come take it down, but I know they were busy, so they probably got to it when they could. Anyway, the tree is gone and I'm happy about it. Overall a good experience.

They were very professional from beginning to end. They came out and gave me an estimate the same day I called. On the day of the job, they showed up on time, completed the work quickly and very professionally. They were very careful not to damage property or other trees. In grinding out the stumps, the even followed the major roots to remove them from below the surface. They also meticulously cleaned up before they left. The price charged was very reasonable. I would gladly use them again and recommend them.

They were quick to come out and give the quote. Once the work started they were very quick and did a great job cleaning up afterwards.

They were pleasant, gave a great estimate, and came out the very next day to cut the trees down. That part was great with no problems. Mr. Berry contacted me to inform me that due to all the rain we had in May they would have to come back when the ground was not not saturated so they would not disturb my lawn with the equipment necessary to remove the stumps. I told them that sounds great and come back whenever at their discretion to remove the stumps. A couple days pass and my wife calls me to inform me that our back yard had significant track marks and damage from equipment and being driven on it to remove the stumps as they had come to remove the stumps while we were away from the house. I call Mr. Berry and he is out of town and asks me to text him the pictures, so I do....and I never get a response. A couple weeks later I receive the invoice so I called him back to ask about the grass issue once again, and inform him that I had to spend my own time and money to resolve an issue caused by them, and he informed me that it was something that was out of their control and that there was not much they could do about it. So long story short. They did a great job in the actual tree removal and stump removal, but were not helpful or responsive at all in trying to resolve a problem they created, which they obviously knew was a possibility since they postponed doing the work on the first day. I ended up being out about $55 in grass seeding and 4 hours of my own time fixing this issue. That being said, i would use them again because they did a good job and they seem like nice people, but they were not interested in helping resolve this issue with me.

Miscommunication on original date service was to be performed, but came out the very next day. They did a great job in removing the trees and cleaning up. We had a lot of old and rotting wood left over from when KU cut down some trees a number of years ago and they cleared that out as well. Not an easy chore as were some big stumps, etc. and our yard isn't easy to access and has a steep hill.

They did a fantastic job. Arrived at the scheduled time, took all precautions to make sure no surrounding structures, trees or shrubs-ours or our neighbors' were damaged. They did a thorough clean-up and even shredded the branches, etc. and left them for us to use for mulch. They did such a good job that one of our neighbors called later for their name.

We had to wait several weeks for them to get to the damaged trees from the last ice storm, but understood we were on a long wait list. The other two times we've used them they responded in a timely manner and we have been pleased with their work. We also consider their fees to be reasonable. We would definitely use them again.

It took some time for them to get back to me after the initial estimate, but once the work started it went very well and we are happy with the cost and the work done.

I called them when a tree fell across driveway, and they came out right away to cut and move the tree in the rain. I called and scheduled a time for them to remove the rest of the tree, as well as to cut more small trees and bushes that needed to be removed. They also disposed of a pile of brush. All work was completed as requested, and areas were left clean. Workers were very prompt and professional.
