Precision Tree Svc

When we bought our property 16 years ago the trees surrounding our house were ascetically appealing and complimented the appearance of our house and land. In the 16 years since we bought our home the trees had become overgrown and towered over the house becoming unsightly, dangerous, and a maintenance nightmare. River Birch trees are pretty, but I consider high maintenance due to the constant falling branches and leaves. It was time to take them down. On October 10, 2017 we called Mark Hatfield to have a look and see what could be done. He came out and gave us valuable insight as to how the removal of the trees would make our property more marketable if we decided to sell. He gave us an estimate and we agreed to have the work done. Precision Tree has no problem finding work and we agreed to have our job done during the winter (out of peak tree removal season) at a reduced rate. We mentioned to Mark that we were planning on wintering in Florida and would be leaving around Christmas. He said he would have the trees removed before we left, and grind the stumps later in the winter. After talking it over with my wife, we were worried about the appearance of our house after the tree removal because, let’s face it, once the tree is taken out you can’t put it back. We called Mark Hatfield back and told him we had some concerns and asked him to come out when he was available so we could go over our decision. He came out again and we talked things over. I’m amazed a business man would take as much time as he did with our concerns, and Mark is a most interesting person to talk too. As I said before, Precision Tree is not lacking for work and we were very appreciative that Mark would spend the time with us to address our concerns. We changed the number of trees to take out. True to his word Mark came out before we said we would leave for Florida and began the work. We once again had a change of plan and requested an additional three trees be removed. Mark agreed to take the additional trees out without hesitation. It was nice to have someone who could accommodate our sudden change in planning. We were also appreciative of how the trees were removed as far as safety. We had no worries of anyone being injured on our property. Safety was a high priority. After the trees were removed we were amazed at the positive change in appearance it made to our house. We wish we would have done it years ago. We can’t wait to see how our property will look with replacement plantings. Within a week of having the trees removed Precision Tree came out again to remove the stumps. Precision Tree is a well-oiled machine and within a few hours the stumps were ground out and debris removed. The before and after look of our property is amazing. The house is now easily viewable with no worry about falling branches and debris. In the spring we will be calling Mark Hatfield back to give us advice on responsible replacement trees/shrubs which will make our house appealing.

It was good and bad. The work that was done was fine, but the job wasn't completed. The owner came out the first time, was very pleasant, didn't seem to have any problem. The work they did was fine. We called them back because there were a few branches on the big tree that were supposed to be removed that weren't. The owner said he would come back, but then became very combative and unprofessional with my wife, which upset her. In our mind, the job wasn't finished and there is no reason to treat your customers that way. We even offered to pay more if there was a misunderstanding on the work, but he was a total jerk.

Mark Hatfield was prompt in returning phone calls and gave us an estimate of $2,500 to remove all the trees within two days of our initial call. We had also contacted another highly rated tree removal company and they did not return a call until two weeks after our initial attempt to reach them for an estimate. When the crew arrived they worked non-stop and completed the job in one day, the original quote was the actual cost, no surprises or up-charges. We called them out again after we spent a considerable amount of time clearing out the undergrowth and discovered another tree that was not part of the original quote. This tree had snapped in half and fallen into the wooded area beyond our property line some time ago. Precision came out the next day to have a look and within the hour they had a crew out to remove this tree and the remaining trunk. They also cleared out all the piles of debris we had accumulated for an additional $275. This was well worth the additional cost when we considered how much time it was going to take us to complete the work ourselves.

They were very efficient and did a very good job cleaning up. Came back to grind out the stump in time frame promised. The owner also gave me good advice concerning two other trees in my yard. I definitely would call this company for any future needs.

EXCELLENT! Very prompt and reasonable estimate. Mark came out the same day I called! He is so knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The work was done promptly with such a high level of expertise and everything was excellent. I couldn't be happier with it. The Precision Tree crew was very nice and very highly qualified. I would definitely call Precision Tree for any other work I would need done. Mark and his crew cannot be beat. Their quality of work, professionalism, and courtesy is exceptional. outstanding job by this company/I called and needed this job done quickly, the owner came out the same day gave me a quote and was back the next morning with a crew to do the job. They were very professional and got the job done quickly. This tree had fallen on someone else's property, when I came over to update my neighbor on what was going on the owner of the company had already taken the initiative to take care of that. I would highly recommend this company.

Owner Mark Hatfield came out same day I called to do estimate. He gave me an itemized estimate on each thing I wanted done. 3 days later, he and his team arrived in the morning to do all the work except the grinding and tree injection. Mark's sons and 1 of their friends did the actual labor in a VERY knowledgeable, efficient and professional manner. Most of the work was in my back yard and they do not use a bucket truck due to potential damage to yards - so it was a lot of work carrying everything to the trucks. They were done by noon, including total clean-up of my yard and the street where their trucks sat. . 1 day later Mark came back and injected my Pin Oak tree. 2 days later Moses returned to do the stump grinding - a very sloooowwwww process on one of my particularly big and wide stumps. They also did a big ( 1 tree ) job for my brother - who was very pleased,,,,and I have given their number to another friend who has a tricky tree removal to do.

I obtained a quote to have two trees removed from my backyard. Mark Hatfield came out and looked at the trees, and gave me a written estimate. After I approved the work to be done, he had his insurance company fax me proof of his liability insurance. Then, in just over three weeks, his crew came out and carefully removed the trees. They climbed each tree and used ropes to lower large limbs one at a time to avoid damaging adjacent structures. They hauled out all the wood without bringing any motorized vehicles into my yard. Mark seems to be very knowledgeable about his work. I would use his company again.

I left a voice mail with Mark Hatfield at Precision Tree Service. He called me back the same day. I told him what I needed and he said he would come to my property to give me an estimate the next day. The next day I received the estimate. I called Mark to set up an appointment and he was able to complete the job within 2 days. The price was reasonable and Mark was very professional and knowledgable. I will contact Mark for any future tree trimming needs.

I made calls to explore options for tree removal in my yard. Mark was quick to return my call and able to accommodate an appointment with flexibility. What I most appreciated from Mark was the OPTIONS he presented: complete tree removal with his company bringing down and removing from the property; bring trees down and allow us to move the wood ourselves; chipping brush; ground spray to help the area after removal.......basically, Mark listened and was a professional in his approach to help me determine what my best plan would be. I greatly appreciate this!! I was highly impressed and will undoubtedly keep his name for my future use and to provide to my clients and friends. I am constantly asked for referrals and Mark is the type of person I would feel good about recommending.

The crew showed up on time and ready to work they were professional in all aspects, when they were done for the day they cleaned so well you couldn't even tell they had been here. Would recommend them to everyone and will be hiring them again in the near future. The price was very reasonable.

Quote was competitive. Took several weeks to get the appointment scheduled, but when it was scheduled the provider showed up on time and efficiently performed the service to include all cleanup. The provider also provided the requested evidence of both liability and workman's comp insurance before beginning the work on site. Workers conducted themselves in a professional manner.

They completed the job in one day. They did a very nice job. They did what they thought was right. Their price was reasonable and less than their competitors' prices.
