+ -1 moreWe completely gutted and renovated a 75 year-old farmhouse. I got quotes from several insulation companies with a focus on spray foam insulation. Aper Insulation was one of the companies that quoted our job. But they stood out immediately because they could offer traditional insulation (fiberglass, cellulose, etc.) in addition to spray foam insulation. Eddie Aper met me at the job site to explain the various options for insulating the house and the initial cost for each. I never felt that he was trying to push me into one option versus the other because it didn't matter to him since he could do them all. We chose to use spray foam because of its superior performance even though the initial cost was higher. The Aper crew was very responsive and worked long days to finish on time. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
Description of Work: 1. Installed flash-coat of closed-cell foam insulation in outside walls as vapor barrier and then filled the cavity with open-cell foam. 2. Installed closed-cell foam around the perimeter of the crawl space walls and bands. 3. Installed 6" thick open-cell insulation under all roof deck areas.

+ -1 moreThey were on time and kept the jobsite clean. They recommended replacing the existing vent fans with some turbine fans and we can notice the difference in the temperature of the home. They are always professional and I would highly recommend them.
