Description of Work: Power washing and sealing deck

Description of Work: The house had settled, causing the drywall tape to separate on two walls and the ceiling in the living/dining room area. The contractor did everything necessary, i.e. tape, caulk, mud, sand, prime, and paint, to repair.

Description of Work: We have used J &M Interiors & exteriors LLC. The guy from company has done some exterior carpentry work and some interior plaster and dry wall work and then some roofing.

Description of Work: They repaired a column on front porch which supported a balcony. Replaced rotted wood, caulked, and painted.

Description of Work: We started using J & M when we needed to paint the exterior of our house. From there, they replaced our windows, remodeled our bathroom, repaired a plaster ceiling and so many little things I can't remember them all. Most recently, I called them to enlarge a closet and as we talked I ended up asking Jim about fixing a ceiling, painting a few rooms, updating my bathroom and what to do about our disaster of a patio. We ended up doing so much more because his guys can do anything and do it well and Jim knows a multitude of great resources. He had a lot of great ideas about how to update things and suggested changes that made a hugh difference without costing an arm and a leg. His staff was so nice and they cleaned up everyday when they were done so that we could still actually live in the places where they were working instead of leaving it a war zone. He used really experienced and knowledgeable subcontractors (for the cement for my patio, to choose colors for paint) who were responsive and went about and beyond. The cement sub went as far as regrading the area around my patio so that the new patio would drain properly because he wanted us to be happy with his work. That is probably the thing I most appreciate about Jim and his whole operation. They want to really make us happy and put in the extra effort it takes to do that. Other contractors I've used say "what do you want" and do the minimum to get that done. Jim worked collaboratively with us and made suggestions based on projects he's done and research he does during our project. And often he recommends less costly ways to do things or simply leaving somethings alone, so I never feel like he is just trying to squeeze more work out and jack up the price. After the work was done, Jim has been great about following up with punch list items and I feel like I can call him and he is willing to come and do little projects as well. He is going to stain the new fence they ended up putting up with a product he heard about that will protect it for years to come.
