Big B Restoration cleaned and sealed my aggregate walkways, cleaned, sanded and sealed my paver driveway and cleaned my gutters. They also cleaned around my windows. They used a top quality sealer and included an insecticide in the water for the gutters and windows which especially helped with the spiders on my windows. Their pricing for these services was reasonable. Barry Miller is a very personable man, a good listener concerning the client's needs and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure the customer is satisfied with the results (and this is coming from a very picky customer). His helpers were very pleasant, easy to work with, and willing to honor any reasonable request. I will be using this company's services again. Penny Cooper Louisville, KY

He did a great job - did it while we were out of town so we didn't have to worry about where to park cars while he was doing the work and letting it dry for a day. He also came back to do the strip of concrete at the front of the garages where the garage doors hit and the brick edge on the porch after we got home. This was done with a flat sealant as oppose to glossy. He was very nice.

We hired Barry Miller to clean and seal our 2600 sq. ft aggregate driveway, deck, and playground. We selected him due to ratings on Angie's list and another service. The price was reasonable and in line with other estimates. $1300 for the driveway, $500 to strip off old color and reseal the deck, $200 for the playground. Work was scheduled for 3-weeks later. Aggregate driveway was cleaned using a scrub brush machine. I had to call him to come out and reclean several areas that were still dirty, or omitted. For example, my rolling garden hose box was not moved. In addition, I had to ask him to treat oil & rust stains with a detergent or muriatic acid. He was very accomodating and came out the next day to reclean and touch up dirty areas. The deck was cleaned only with water. Water spots were left on the wood and were clearly visible after the stain seal was applied. In addition, there was a large splotch of stain on my kitchen window casing, the exterior brick, and the glass. He came out and cleaned it up. Upon first application of the deck stain, none of the spindles and exterior facing facia boards had been sealed. He was very accomodating and sanded some of the seat back boards from the built-in deck benches to remove the water spot stains and resealed them. In addition, he stated that he needed to put more color into the new stain because some of the boards still had the "old" cedar coloring. In addition, he had to replace some old faulty nozzles on his equipment "after" he had to redo the work. While Mr. Miller was very responsive and good with follow-up, I felt like the quality was lacking in the job the first time and that I had to provide more supervision and inspection than I should have needed to. For a $2,000 job, he should have had his equipment prepped and ready to go "before" he started the job. A basic walk-through following the initial cleaning would have revealed the stain splotches, omitted areas, etc. Big-B is primarily a pressure washing outfit that also provides deck sealing services. Deck sealing is not one their strengths and while it looks better than it did before, my wife and I feel as if Mr. Miller should have not stated in his quote that he would strip and reseal the deck if they were only going to use water. The purpose of outsourcing the work was to allow me to spend more time with my family since I travel a lot for work. I appreciate Mr. Miller's responsiveness but feel like I spent more time "managing the project" than I should have.

He did a very good job & was much less expensive than other quotes we received (which were closer to $400-500). He missed a few small spots, but I think that is because he was trying not to damage the grass.

AFTER MY LANDLADY SAW THE PRICE HE QUOTED AND THE WORK HE DID. SHE HAD HIM CLEAN THE FENCES ON HER OTHER PROPERTIES AND HER OWN HOME. HE WAS PROMPT AND IT WAS REFRESHING TO HAVE SOMEONE COME AT THE TIME HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO COME. HE WAS CLEAN. HE COVERED THE BUSHES TO PROTECT THEM FROM GETTING BLOWN AROUND.
