BAD He worked on the air handler, no parts needed. He told us it was going to be very expensive - bill $357.00, The air was working but did not stay on 24 hours. I called him 3 different times. 1st he told me it was complicated & 2 error codes he did not understand. He suggested turning it off and on, Next call I questioned him about the error codes. He said he knew what they meant. Another call he said he had removed!! freon, He told me water in the basement humidity was the problem. We removed water humidity was 40%. Did not work! Told us it was our fault for adj temp.

Dave Hiles was called on an emergency basis when my air conditioning failed, and he responded within an hour. He examined and diagnosed the problems, offered choices for solutions, went to the store to buy the defective part, ordered and put in new filters for the AC, and measured the air flow throughout the house. He was very thorough and very fast. He knew what he was doing. Because I am Disabled, David volunteered to help assemble various items I received for my new house, and he worked quickly and efficiently. We discussed my desire for the installation of a new toilet and sink downstairs in the den. He examined the existing piping and came up with an estimate which was lower than two other contractors. He also made recommendations on brands of toilets to consider. We discussed replacing the existing kitchen sink. He made measurements and told me the maximize size I could order and a cost to install. While at the kitchen sink, he fixed the garbage disposal, and used my new ladder to replace burnt out ceiling bulbs (I have cathedral ceilings and am unable to use a ladder). Dave Hiles is punctual, cheerful, very detailed, honest, and extremely reliable. He called me after the air conditioning repair to ask me about room temperatures and comfort levels - on his own time. I believe he cares about his customers, takes pride in the quality of his work, and is so fast because he's done it all before. His pricing is very reasonable, his workmanship is incredibly beyond expectation, and he "owns" his work product. He is fully insured and has a Kentucky Master License (#HM05223). He is more than an HVAC guy - there seems little he can't do, from HVAC to plumbing to electrical work. He is the guy to call. I will rely on Hiles Heating & Cooling for all my new home repairs and improvements.
