Excellent! Steve arrived when he said he would and completed the job in less time, then he thought it would take.

It went very well. Repairs were complete within 3 hours of the first conversation. Steve is well versed in his trade and willing to share information with the homeowner. Careful and courteous about his work.

This is the third time I've used Dunbar Plumbing and as before I'm totally satisfied. Steve always shows up on time and and is very professional in everything he does. While he likes to do repairs using the best (and most expensive) replacement parts he's also willing to work within my budget to get the job done. His years of experience allows him to diagnose the problem instantly and make repairs that will last. He's truly a master plumber.

Discussed the modifications needed prior to proceeding. Very professional, wore booties, cleaned up work area after installation.

Everything went perfect. Quick call back, good communication throughout, flexible scheduling, minimized cutting to drywall, neat cuts, etc. Very nice to work with, work is of highest quality. We have used HC Dunbar several times and it's always been a flawless service.

Steve is very careful and very fair. He doesn't overcharge or do more work than is necessary.

I decided to call HC Dunbar Plumbing based on info provided thru Angie's List. Steve returned my call with 1 hr. He asked me describe the problem - clogged basement drain. Gave me an estimate based on an hourly rate and equipment use. Said he could be there next day and gave me a 2 hr time window. He called within that window. Arrived and assessed situation and said he would try to see if the power snake would bust thru the clog in what he suggested was in the transition area right where the pipe goes into and under the basement floor. After getting thru the original clog he kept working to create as wide of an opening as possible. We discussed some future options to replace the transition pipe once and for all. Steve gave me a guesstimate on a cost for that project. The final cost of unclogging drain was basically what he quoted over the phone. He showed me some info and pictures I could review on his website to see the repair/replace that would be involved on future project.

Steve returned my calls promptly and arrived on time on the day he was supposed to. He went to work right away, solved the problem on the first try and cleaned up the mess as he went. He even looked at my gas water heater to see why the pilot light wasn't staying lit. He has no problem explaining the "what and why" he is doing something. I have used this company in the past and I will not hesitate to call him again for any plumbing issues I have.

Steve is the best. Not only does he do excellent work, he takes care of and is concerned to protect my house and property. He takes his time and does the job right the first time. His prices are extremely fair so I don't even ask for a price before he does the work. If anyone is going to do plumbing jobs for me, it is going to be Dunbar Plumbing.

The service was wonderful. He wore shoe covers over his boots and was extremely neat and courteous. I was at my wits end with no working showers and a two week old baby! I couldn't have asked for better plumbing experience.

He was professional, friendly, efficient, informative and made sure the work area was kept clean during installation. Also made sure that clean up was complete. He gave a window of 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to arrive. He called at 10:00 a.m. to say he would arrive closer to 12:00 p.m. That was an extra step he took that allowed us to adjust our schedule, much appreciated by us.

Water was coming from everywhere, called Steve, came immediately, had broken water pipe, frozen pipes, broken faucet upstairs and leaking pipe under sink. Steve is a lifesaver and does "excellent" work. Recommend him highly!

That fellow was friendly, did the work well, gave good advice on how to avoid further incidents. He even fixed a congested garbage disposal on the fly and cleaned up his work area. Highly recommended.

It went a lot better than expected. He came when he said he would. He put on footies over his work boots, most contractors don't do that. He was honest with us. Of the two choices he had to fix it, he tried the easier and less expensive one first.

We called Steve for the installation of two complex reverse osmosis and whole house filtering systems. Initially, we left a message on his cell phone. He promptly got back to us and scheduled an appointment next day in spite of the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday. We were absolutely impressed with his professionalism, knowledge of his work and familiarity with new trends in water filtration systems. And that's not all! Steve is not only an excellent plumber, but also an artist. His design of the complex whole house filtration system made a very convoluted piping system look slick and aesthetic. But above all we were impressed with his integrity at work, meticulousness, neatness, precision and thoughtfulness. We are at peace. We have a plumber we can trust. Thank you Steve!

Steve was very professional from the start. Very informative about the problems we had and their causes; specifically our high water pressure. None of the other plumbers we called talked about this. His bid was far and away the best and he did the job in 2 days as he said he would. Very pleased with the work and plan on using him again.

I used them earlier this month for some plumbing repairs in a duplex I own. He is always prompt courteous and is very knowledgeable. He is also reasonably priced, and seems to know what he is doing.

While he was there, he found that my outside drain was partially clogged with silth and gravel probably from new house construction up the hill from the drain and this was interfering with the interior drain which he was using to drain the water heater. He cleared the exterior drain and also cleared the area of fallen leaves which would have interfered with the efficiency of the drain, and maybe led to water in my finished basement which has been a problem in the past. I can always count on Steve to make sure that everything is done correctly when he does work for me, and I have complete trust and confidence in his knowledge and abilities. I wouldn't consider calling any other plumber.

Excellent all around. Steve was very personable, provided instruction on request, fair priced, showed up when scheduled, cleaned up mess before he left.

This is the second time that I have used Dunbar Plumbing and once again I was extremely pleased with their work. I found Steve to be extremely professional, easy to work with and most important, he does quality work. Steve installed a new sump pump and a back up system to be used in case of a power outage. While installing the pump, he also took the initiative to make several adjustments on the inflow piles that eliminated additional wear on the pump and resulted in a much quieter operation. He also fixed my Toilet which was driving us "nuts." I would highly recommend Dunbar for any plumbing job. In my book, they are the best.

The gentleman who fulfilled the call arrived on time, and was professional in action and conversation. He even removed his shoes before entering my home. He explained to me exactly what the problem was and provided some very helpful insight to another problem. He adjusted the bill from $90 to $70 (did not take a full hour). I have scheduled some additional plumbing work with Dunbar Plumbing to be completed in the next week.

If I need a plumbing job done, he is the guy I call.
