CHESTNUT'S FENCING

We got proposals from three providers and ultimately chose Chestnut. They were the cheapest provider, but the margin of difference between their price and the next competitor was small. We ultimately chose them because they sent the man who would run the job out for the estimate and it was clear that he had significant expertise. We share a fence line with a neighbor and they accommodated our request to ensure that the disruption to our neighbor's property was as minimal as possible by taking down the shared fence wall last and building that wall first. Due to weather the job took a bit longer than initially quoted, however, the cost remained the same and they were communicative during the process letting us know which days they would and would not be on site. We would use them in the future and recommend them to others.

(I forget the exact date and cost). I did get several bids, but the other companies did not want to do as I was requesting, stating that it was not possible. This company not only listened to what I wanted to do, there was no hesitation to do it. I have since had other professionals, in other fields, comment on what a good job was done on this fence work. His bid was lower, and yet he did more work than the other companies were going to do. I do and will continue to recommend this company.

They were prompt in providing an estimate for the fence. Because it was their busy season, I waited about 5 weeks for the installation. This was in line with the information I received from other companies. They arrived on time and we discussed the options for gate placement and walked the yard together. They completed the installation on time and within budget. The fence looks great! They were professional and answered my many questions throughout the process. I highly recommend this company!

It went awesome I was very please with the quality of work. The fence just looks great and not to mention that he also put in a double wide gate which looks and works very well. Super pleased ! Randy did very neat and professional work! I would tell everyone to use Chestnuts that's how pleased I am...well done!!

They had a 3 week wait which was a lot shorter than some other fence companies, who told me I would have to wait 8 wks. They were done in 2 days. Which was amazing because my backyard is not the easiest since it was overgrown. It looks fantastic and will be able to keep my dogs in. Im so happy! And the best part was the price difference. Everyone else quoted 2000-2300 from 4 other companies. I saved at least $500 going with chestnut.

I got the impression from the gentleman that he really didn't want to do the fence work. It was difficult getting someone out here to do the quote and the scheduled time he was supposed to come he didn't. He claimed he didn't know but it just seemed that he didn't want to do the work.

Called Chestnut fencing to come and give me an estimate on a fencing job. They said that they would give me an estimate but I had to meet them during business hours (8-4:30) and when they had an employee in that general vicinity (the store is only ten miles away from my house mind you). So reluctantly, I took time off of my work to meet them at 3:00. Just before then, they called me to cancel the appointment because the employee who was supposed to be in the area went home early. He then had the audacity to ask me to measure my back yard and let him know what style of fence I wanted so he could give me an estimate over the phone. Unbelievable!!! The way I see it, these guys are either so rich that they don’t need my business or they’re just lazy. I’m betting on the latter. There’s no way I’d hire someone who’s too lazy to give an estimate. Can you imagine how poor the actual work would be? So chestnut fencing, if you’re listening, it’s not the economy, it’s you.

Really great work, the hardware was high quality and well thought out. They called back timely in all cases, faxed the quote and had the work completed within 2 weeks as agreed.

It went very smoothly and they were on time. They did a good job!

They used a special fence and their prices were very good. I would use them again.

THEY WERE $175 CHEAPER THAN ANOTHER ESTIMATE. THERE WERE SEVERAL INSTALLATION CANCELLATIONS. I HAD TO FOLLOW UP ON MY OWN. THEY WERE FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT.
