SQUARE YARD CARPET

Description of Work: Purchased Mohawk wood flooring. I shortly noticed what poor quality the floor was. However, that will be reviewed on Mohawk's website. My problem with Square Yard was that I received no backup whatsoever with Mohawk. The floor was put down in October and immediately began to show wear. Every time I used the dust mop, I noticed more scratches and dents. The last straw was when my two year old granddaughter dropped her plastic sippy cup and it gouged the floor. I called Square Yard in November. Instead of coming to personally look at the floor, I was told Mohawk had to handle it and an independent inspector would have to look at the floor. He came in January. I didn't hear anything back from Mohawk so I finally called the store again in April. They had the report. My warranty claim was denied due to "normal wear and tear". 2 adults and a 20 pound dog live in the house. Not once did Rick offer to look at the floor or go to bat for me. I have a Mannington floor in a vacation cottage that has been down for 6 years. Friends, family and a few more dogs give that floor more traffic in a summer than our home will have for years and it looks practically new. I was mad, then hurt and sad. I won't go back.

Description of Work: We had are complete house done, We elected to do 2 rooms at a time. They were great about scheduling around our schedule. They completed the work as promised and on time. They did a great job.
