Description of Work: Called on a Friday night with basement flooding and they came out right away. Pleasure to work with!

Description of Work: Performed mitigation and repairs after our basement flooded. Generally, I was happy with the service. Kim handled almost everything with the insurance claims process, which was a big help. They were always early, and they worked efficiently. There was one guy who kind of creeped me out and was a little bit annoying, but I think it was just a personality clash. He tried to be as professional as possible, but he just lacked that "go the extra mile" attitude that most people appreciate. (Example: After he finished my carpet cleaning, he asked if I wanted him to wipe up the puddle he left on my concrete floor. I'm overly polite in these kinds of situations and said "Oh it's fine." He said "Are you sure? Because I don't like leaving people's house a mess." The professional thing to do would have been to just do it without asking, and he never did wipe it up. But, like I said, he did a great job in other aspects of the work and I think I was just personally annoyed with him.) Also, when I booked them to work on my house, I didn't realize they didn't have local contractors based out of Louisville. Most of their employees had to drive down from Florence, which did not pose any problems at all for me. I just felt bad for the workers & would have liked to have used a local service. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd say communication, punctuality and efficiency were their strong suits.

Description of Work: He helped me build part of my deck. He did a good job. We were happy with the service.

Description of Work: I called to get testing for asbestos in flooring. The gentleman had me send photos and suggested that I contact Tencon, a company that services the area I live in. Tencon said that if I brought samples in myself I could receive a discount on the testing. I brought the samples and received the results within a week by email. It was fast and easy, and no asbestos! Both companies were very professional and willing to work with the customer.

Description of Work: My finished basement took on water and my husband and myself dried it out but everything was ruined . We had the foundation repaired (another Angie's list find) .Then I spotted some mold along the baseboards.The work took about 2 weeks start to finish. the guys were polite,caring,and communication was wonderful. I would hire them again.They first set up a containment by hanging a heavy plastic sheet and taped it to the floor. Then they set up 2 large hepa filters, then removed all of the mold. The second air test came back clean,so they came back to remove the plastic, clean up.

Description of Work: Received a bid for drywall repair and carpet cleaning for a leak. Called and asked them to come and provide me a bid. I explained that this would not be an insurance claim. It was very apparent they work primarily in insurance claim work. They came very quickly and were expecting to start work right then and there. They were dumbfounded that I was going to check pricing from other contractors. Their bid was very high - $1700.00 of which about $1400.00 was positioning of rental equipment such a dehumidifiers and dryers that were unmonitored. I check and it would only cost about $300.00 to rent the equipment ourselves. We did not end up renting the equipment, but went with another contractor that was more reasonably priced. We ended up paying about 1/3 the price of the PuroClean estimate. He was not happy we went in another direction and charged me for the estimate.
