Had Mr. Voll to the house because our heat pump system wasn't working properly. The emergency heat wouldn't come on at all. We told him that in the past we have had to add refrigerant in the spring/summer and take out refrigerant in the fall/winter. We explained to him on the phone when we called him that we have a dog who is very protective of his humans but when he got to the house and we explained that he couldn't come in the house to check the thermostat because we were keeping the dog inside so that he could do his work outside, he was very rude with my husband. He never even looked at our heat pump. He spent his time under our house (where it is heated) with the air handler/back-up furnace. He got our emergency heat working and he was done. We even asked him for an estimate on a new system while he was here. We didn't get that so I called him back the same night he was here and asked about the estimate and was told he would call me back with it the next morning. Well, a couple of hours after he left, we knew the heat pump still wasn't working properly. Knowing he was calling me back the next morning, I decided to wait until he called to tell him we still had trouble. When he hadn't called by 10:30 am, I decided to call him and of course I got his voicemail, which I expected given the season. I left him a message telling him of our continuing problems. It is now nearly 8 pm and I still haven't heard from him. I understand if you can't get here because of the snow we have on the ground, the sub-zero windchills we have been having, or even if you are covered up with work and need a few days to get to me, but you can at least call somebody back and tell them something.

I've worked with them for a while. They show up when you call them. They offer credit card payments if you don't have cash.
