Description of Work: Meades was hired to put freon in my AC.

Description of Work: I found this company through a listing in a phonebook. I called to have my central air charged up. He showed up with his wife, and had estimated 200.00. He pretended to hook up the freon and the gauges to my unit. I said the gauges are not reading "full". He said "you can't fill it all the way up or it will tear up your compressor!" He came inside to figure the bill. I said, "It isn't getting any colder!"> He said, "It will in a minute,". He left, and it never got any colder at all. The tanks of freon that he showed up with were probally empty. He certainly didn 't put any freon at all in my unit because if he had've it would have gotten cold. I called several times and left several messages. I tricked him and got my boyfriend to call and say he needed work done. I then, got on the phone and he said he would come back and make it right. He never came back. I was just out 180.00 plus the money to have a legitimate company that carries actual freon to come back and do his job that he was paid to do. So, I was out of pocket 400.00. Thanks, to his ripping me off. He has a reputation around here for doing this, not only to me, but alot of others. I was able to find this out after the fact, or I would never have used his service to begin with.
