They were to arrive at 11:00am but didn't show up until 11:45am. Got right to work where very professional.

When I called Big Sandy Heating and Cooling, a call service answered the phone. I was under the impression this company was a local company, but I guess they outsource their calls. I understand I called on a Saturday and it was after their business hours, I can even understand outsourcing their phone calls after business hours. But, when you hire a call service, you should make sure the people answering your calls know what they are doing. My experience was unreal. At first, the lady was nice and asked me for my address and phone number. I gave her my address first and when she repeated it back to me, she had it all wrong. She is only human and mistakes can happen, so I repeated my address over and, when she repeated it back to me, she had it all wrong again. I ended up repeating my address at least 5 times until finally she got it right. My phone number was the exact same way. By the time I had repeated my phone number to her the third time, she was getting very aggravated with me and started having an attitude. I eventually hung up on her before the situation escalated.

They didn't fix the problem and they had to come back a month latter to do it again by charging me the same amount. They did not want to do what I wanted to do and said that it was impossible to move the unit up to the ground level of the house. I disagreed with that since my husband is a coal mine engineer and he works with ventilation who told me that it could absolutely be done. They did not do the work for me and it was done by another company who understood what needed to be done. They wanted to charge me $12,000.00 and that's why I did not have them replace the unit but when they did do little work for me they charged me $242.00 and it was always $242.00 no matter what they did.
