Description of Work: Recently we had a water line leak in our home. We had insurance and contacted the insurance company. The company that serviced our home, United Plumbing of Goshen, Kentucky, responded within hours of calling the insurance company. The job was complicated and United Plumbing worked with Leak Doctor to track the exact location of the leak. United Plumbing returned and completed the job. I thought the two man crew was hard working and efficient, they took the time to explain things. To cap it off, they hosed down the area and filled in the hole on our patio, very professional....couldn't have done it better myself.

Description of Work: Prices were outrageous for minor repairs. Appears prices were all subjective. Wanted $89.00 to tighten kitchen sink faucet, $111.00 to fix bathroom sink hot water side faucet, which just needed a new speciality screw.Tech was very nice, but after he received the quoted prices by a phone call from I am assuming, the owner, I declined service.

 + -1 moreUnited was recommended by a neighbor, and we confirmed that they were on Angie's List. Even though they initially indicated that they couldn't respond to our call until early evening after a few moments discussion, they found a way to re-route a technician to our house before noon. The technician approached the problem methodically and surveyed all involved piping systems before he began. He used a 40-foot ''snake'' after cutting an access into the piping under the sink for his equipment. The process took approximately 1-1/2 hour until the drain was once again flowing freely. The technician was well informed, very capable, extremely courteous, cleaned up all debris, and offered helpful information on preventive maintenance.
Description of Work: The kitchen sink and nearby laundry sink would not drain, even after we tried the usual plunge-and-snake routine. United cleared the blockage in by using a 40-foot ''snake''. They cut an access below the sink to properly use their equipment.
