Description of Work: leaky roof

Description of Work: We used Assurance Roofing for chimney cap. We had a raccoon up there so they got rid of that and put a cap.

Description of Work: Figured out the source of a couple of roof leaks and made repairs.

Description of Work: We discovered we had a roof leak on Sunday, and began our search for a roofer. Mark Cox of Assurance answered our phone call on a Sunday afternoon (which in itself was surprising) and made an appointment with us to inspect our roof for the leak area, and give us an estimate. He later called to let us know he was on his way. After the inspection he explained what apparently was the cause of the leak, what he would have to do to correct/repair it, the materials he would use, when he could do it and the cost.

Description of Work: I found Assurance Roofing and called because our chimney was leaking (when it rained or snowed) down to our basement. I spoke to Mark Cox the owner, and he came over and checked out our chimeny and basement, and he gave us the breakdown of what needed to happen. He had his lap top and showed us pictures, and gave us 2 options we could do to fix our problem. A.) A temporary fix that would have to be fixed again, which was cheaper in coast. or B.) A permanent fix which was more expensive at the time, but would be most ecomonical for our future. We chose (B). Mark measured our chimney and ordered the product(s) that he needed to fix the leaking on the chimeny. About two weeks later he came to the house and fixed the chimney. That evening it rained so hard we knew the problem had been fixed. It has rained several times since Mark fixed our chimney and has not leaked at all. We could not have been happier with his Professionalism, his Workmanship,Promptness, Reliable, and keeps his Word!! That goes a long way in my book! My husband and I knew he was the man for the job. Not only is he the owner, but does the work himself. In today's world people will promise you the moon if they need to to get your business, but they never seem to follow through on what they promise you once they have you sign on the dotted line. Not the case with Assurance Roofing(Mark Cox) We would recommend his company to anyone who has a roofing/chimney problem, and you can count us to use him again and again if and when we need him...and you should too.
