At first Mr. Booth appeared to have a superb work ethic and was very conscientious about his work as he prepared the materials for the job. Very responsive to my calls, etc. Showed up the first workday with two new workers who I understood would be learning on the job with direct supervision under Mr. Booth. On the second day they showed up alone and Mr. Booth was not planning to come. I called him and he did show up. 2 day job turned into 5 day job because things had to be redone due to mistakes. Poor paint job was the first issue. Came back to re-sand and re-paint. Many ballusters uneven across the rows. Pieces of bases of posts did not fit well together and were nailed in crooked. Base looked terrible. Piece of flooring had come "unlocked" and there was a gap. Asked Mr. Booth to come back to come back to fix a couple of issues-I hadn't noticed them upon first inspection because I was focused on the paint job. On the day he was supposed to come I texted him to see what time he would be here. Said he had tools stolen and couldn't come. I asked him to get back with me. I later left a voice mail about the issues and he never contacted me. My husband ended up repairing the things he could himself. Also had an instance of a text that he would be later than our agreed time because he was going to lunch with his wife. Very unprofessional to miss an appointment time for such a reason. Very affordable but not the quality work I was hoping for. I am picky so if you aren't go for it. But I don't recommend.
