I would highly recommend Jon Klare to complete any renovation project that you are doing in your home. Jon was reliable, punctual, professional and did an excellent job. Jon was also very patient and understanding when we made unexpected changes to our project. Jon also had to pick up materials that we had forgotten and he even repaired our back-splash that was delivered broken. The first appt Jon showed on time and was great and personable. He submitted a bid only slighter later than he said, I was happy with the bid and he set a start date and sent me to pick out tile. I decided I might want additional work done and this is when the problems begin. He came out, late for appt and measured etc - said he would have the bid out by end of weekend - his promises and apologies went on for weeks! Then he just stopped responding, never gave me an additional quote, never told me he wasn’t going to do the original job, never bothered to tell me he wouldn’t show on the start date - just disappeared and NEVER bothered to make contact again! Fortunately , I found a wonderful contractor who is great to work with! Run from this contractor! read reviews, he has done this before!

Jon Klare and his crew transformed an ordinary "builder beige" master bathroom into a modern spa retreat. This was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. From the very beginning, Jon was on board with my ideas for the project, and he helped me with decisions along the way. (I did purchase some of the materials (expensive tub, tub faucet showerhead, etc.), so just know that there is about $5000 more that I spent on my own). The original floor, shower, tub and vanity top were demolished/removed. The team cleaned up every day before leaving, and discarded all of the debris. There was minor plumbing done to align drains and the water supply for the tub. Jon and his team installed a new drain and new shower pan for the entire wet area, installed two types of tile on the floor and two more types of tile on the walls, two cutout shelves in the shower area, as well as chrome trim all around, and then grouted the entire space. The tub was installed exactly where I wanted it - down to the small gap I requested between the tub and the wall so I can clean behind it. The tub faucet and showerhead were installed next, followed by the glass enclosure, and finally the quartz vanity top. Jon's connections with local sources for glass, tile and quartz allowed for a truly customized experience. He was very patient with me when I asked questions. The other contractors he brought in for the plumbing and glass installation were on par with Jon - professional, clean, polite, talented, respectful (you get the idea). I really had the "dream team" working for me. It has been several months since the bathroom was finished and I am still in awe of it when I step inside. I would absolutely hire them again.

Jon Klare and his crew did a great job. He is professional and treated us well. His quality of work is hard to find anymore. Jon truly showed up and did what he said he would do, No excuses. A truly hard quality to find today. I have already recommended to others and will continue to do so. Jon and his crew do great work. They built a shower pan, tiled shower floor, shower walls and main floor of bathroom. We had tile already purchased and on hand. Jon and his crew hung the cement board and flooring materials after demo of bathroom was done. They will demo the bathroom for you if you like also. Jon installed two recessed double wall notches and ran an accent piece through the perimeter of the shower. The job for Jon took six days total. Day one rebuilding walls and shower pan. Day two main floor and shower floor. Day three and four tiled walls. Day five was grouting. Day six was clean up and sealing of tile and grout. Very happy with Klare Tiles work, you truly get what you pay for with Jon.

This is the second bathroom that Jon Klare and his company has done for us. Jon is a Master tile Craftsman. Jon, Nick and Davey are all professional . Jon Klare is a super person to do business with. From measuring to completing the job, it has been great. Jon, Dave and Nick were always on time and it was great knowing that they didn't need to be watched over. We could come and go without any worries. So much work was completed in the two weeks and we are thrilled with our new Bathroom. There is only one company that will be doing my other bath and that is Klare Tile. Jon's tile work is that of a Master Tile Layer.

I contacted Klare Tile and Marble late on a Saturday afternoon left a voicemail and Jon Klare returned my call promptly and offered to come to our house the following Sunday to look at our bathroom. He said he would arrive at noon on Sunday and he was here on time. He spent some time in the bathroom taking measurements and looking around and said he would email us an estimate which he did. We exchanged several emails back and forth offering to do some of the work ourselves and purchase some of the items needed our selves in order to keep the cost of the project low and Jon was willing to accommodate us there. Jon was great to work with. He is friendly and knowledgeable about his trade. He was meticulous and he cares about the quality of work he does. He was always helpful when we had questions regarding our bathroom remodel. We will definitely call him again when we are ready to have our kitchen done, my husband and I have already recommended him to friends and neighbors who are looking to have this type of work done in their homes.

Couldn't be any happier! Jon is neat and meticulous. My backsplash now looks professionally installed. I will definitely be contacting him again when I'm ready to work on the bathrooms.

Great! Jon Klare was easy to get in touch with and he responded quickly. The whole process from choosing the tile to the finished job went smoothly. He and the other workers were courteous, showed up on time and did a professional installation. I am glad I found Klare Tile and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for tile work.

For the first time I received a disappointing result with a supposedly rated “A” vendor. I made contact with Klare Tile & Marble and to our surprise Jon the owner’s son came out quickly to look at our project which entailed a master bathroom, guest bathroom, lower level bathroom, bar and kitchen backsplash. My wife and I were very comfortable with Jon’s knowledge and suggestions. At the end of our 1 hour walk-around and we were very encourage with Klare Tile & Marble. Jon said it would be a few days to get an estimate which was understandable since we have a lot of work that needed to be done. He said to expect something by email on Sunday. Sunday rolls around and we received nothing. Knowing contractors I gave him another 3 days before I contacted him by text and email inquiring about the estimate, he replied back that we would receive it that night, again we received nothing. We waited a few more days and I again made contact by text, email and left a voicemail….no reply at all. My gripe is why not just tell us: “We don’t want to do your job” or “Your job is (too big) or (too small) for Klare Tile & Marble or ‘We don’t like you as a customer” etc, etc. Why waste our time and just string us along?

The estimate entailed a lot of money and wife can have it done for free because it was not really a hard work.

We emailed Klare Tile through Angies List along with two other kitchen remodeling companies. Jon Klare emailed us within 24hours and set up an appointment to come to our home. Jon was on time for our appointment and went over our needs and wants list. Jon offered several suggestions and prepared an estimate within one week. We had several questions which Jon was able to answer over the phone. We never heard from the other two companies and we really liked how nice Jon was so we asked him to come back. Jon and his father Russ came over on a Sunday and met with us and explained the entire process. We chose Klare Tile to do our work and also met with them at the tile store and they we very helpful in selecting all of our tile. Jon did all of the demo work with the help of Dave in a timely manner. Jon laid all of the floor tile himself and paid close attention to every detail. Jon was happy to make suggestions during the process and also welcomed any changes we made along he way. The original Quartz countertop material was on backorder so Jon found another Quartz supplier that was a close match. Jon arranged all of the subs and was there to overlook their work. We had the foyer hardwood floors sanded and refinished as part of our project. There were a few spots in the finish that was not 100 percent so Jon had the Hardwood guys come back and sand and recoat the floor---looks great!! Jon was on time every day and worked around our work schedules without a second thought. We feel like Jon far exceeded our expectations. We would hire them again and have recommended them to several people. Thanks to Jon and Russ Klare for a beautiful kitchen!!!

Klare Tile & Marble were very particular and I liked having someone who's particularly interested in their business and it was their own visit so I thought that was a good thing. The work was very good.

Jon and Russ were very professional through out the entire process. They are true craftsmen who provide quality work and service.

When Jon Klare came to give an estimate, he took his time. He gave me ideas about where to go to shop for the tile, and he told me exactly how much tile I would need. That was helpful and successful; I did purchase from one of his recommendations. He and Russ Klare handled the job in about a half day, and then they came back on two consecutive days, first to apply grout and then to apply caulking. The floor looks great, with no clean-up on my part necessary. They also took up and re-installed the toilet successfully.

Jon & Russ were on time, did the work efficiently and quickly. They are perfectionists and did a beautiful job. They were clean and left no debris or mess to clean up afterwards. We will highly recommend them to all our friends and family.

I called on Wednesday the 15th to get an estimate for replacing some grouting & caulking in our master bath shower. The shower is 10 years old and it was in need of replacement. I wanted to do it before we started to have any leaks. Jon answered the phone and scheduled an appt for 5pm on Friday. Turns out they were up the street for another job and asked if they could come down about 3pm. They arrived right around 3pm. Both are very pleasant. We headed upstairs to the bathroom. They took a look at the shower tile. They agreed it needed to replaced. Jon tapped to make sure no damaged had occurred and it hadn't. They then looked at the caulking around the bathtub. They said since they will have to open a tube of caulk that they could replace that also. I said that was fine. I then showed them the other bathroom and they agreed to grout and caulk in that bathroom for the same price. They said it would take about 2 hours and since they were here, they might as well do it all. We scheduled for the next Wednesday when they were going to be in the neighborhood again. Jon arrived on time and went right to work. He did not leave any mess at all. he even caulked along the bathtub & flooring line in the second bathroom. Work looks fine and I am sure will last us for a while. I would definitely use them again.

I liked everything about them. They were very upfront about the cost. They consulted me before spending any more money that was in the estimate. Everybody who came to work was considerate and helpful. I really can't think of anything that I didn't like about them. The job turned out better than what I hoped. They have the ability to look above and see something different. They are coming back to do the kitchen remodeling for me. I'm using him again.

Klare Ceramic Tile & Marble was excellent. there showed up here on time. the craftsmanship was excellent. the price was the best i could find. i will use him again in the future.
