About us

Experienced Registered Piano Technician for 30 years, now rebuilding pianos professionally. Have serviced concert pianos throughout central Kentucky including Norton Centre, University of Kentucky, Transylvania University (20 years), Kentucky State University (20 years), Georgetown College, Frankfort Civic Center, Governor's Mansion, and many churches throughout the region. Rebuilding fine pianos makes economic sense. Will tell customers upfront if their piano is not a good economic choice for rebuilding. Steinways are always a good candidate, but don't only look at the Steinway dealer for rebuilding. My work will restore these pianos to original grandeur.

I have had Ben Griffith tune my piano for several years now. He always does a fine job. He is a pianist who can actually play the instrument also and has a good ear. Besides all that, he is a really nice guy who is very caring, a good listener, and whose integrity is without question. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: He did a general evaluation for any problem keys, hammers, felts, etc. and tuned the grand piano to a=440.
