+ -1 moreThey were pretty good about everything. The only problem I had was that the owner said the tree would not be in the way. When the guys came out to work, the pipe went directly to the tree. We had to spend an extra $2500 to scope under the tree.
Description of Work: We had to have the sewer pipe replaced.

+ 7 moreJohn was great - he is a hard worker and very skilled in all aspects of this type of remodeling - plumbing, electric, tile work, plaster repair. He was very thorough in his communication as we worked through decisions and project milestones. He was willing to work with us to give us the result we envisioned, and he used his many years of experience to provide useful suggestions along the way. John really goes the extra mile to get the job done right - for example, he wasn't pleased with the way the border tiles looked when he mounted the first couple of strips, so he removed them and set each tile individually to create even, squared grout lines. There were only 2 downsides to the job - first was that he wasn't able to get much help throughout the project, which stretched the time to completion significantly. Second, we did the project over the Winter and since he had just moved to rural Kentucky, we missed a few days between holidays and bad Winter weather.
Description of Work: Complete remodel of full bath and half bath, replacing all fixtures, fittings and tile. Installed new lighting, exhaust fans, cabinetry and accessories. Ran new electric to both bathrooms. Completely replaced copper supply piping and cast iron waste and vent to roof. In addition, replaced basement laundry tub and non-working toilet with upstairs toilet, cleared laundry drain, and installed a temporary shower to use during the project.

+ -1 moreJOHN WAS EXTREMELY DILIGENT AND HARDWORKING. HIS WORK WAS OF EXCELLENT QUALITY. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO REHIRE JOHN FOR ANY PLUMBING PROJECT, LARGE OR SMALL.
Description of Work: WITH HIS PARTNER, MATT VAN SKAIK, JOHN GUTTED AND REMODELED TWO BATHROOMS AND OUR KITCHEN. HE PUT IN (AND ROUTED) SIX FIXTURES IN ONE BATHROOM. ALMOST ALL THE PLUMBING WAS MOVED, AND JOHN WAS EXCELLENT AT FITTING NEW PIPES INTO TIGHT SPACES. HE ALSO TILED AND DRY WALLED AND SKIM COATED THE NEW SURFACES.

INSTALLED CEILING FAN & LIGHT FIXTURE; INSTALLED GROUNDED ELECTRIC OUTLETS BY CHANNELING INTO MASONRY WALLS AND BEHIND BASEBOARDS; ADDED POWER STRIP ON TILE WALL AND RAN WIRE THROUGH WALL INTO BASEMENT & INSTALLED GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER.
